Not for us.

Not for us. Was forced to booked because we were being charged R85 per person just to have an informal get together for dinner n cut a cake .Felt it a bit steep for 8 of us.Too many rules n restrictions. ALSO HAD TO CARRY STUFF LIKE DIDHWASHING SOAP TOILET PAPER DISHCLOTHS.TOO MUCH STUFF FOR A HOLIDAY.Also solar lights in case of power failure.This should be supplied by the resort.

I liked 1.

I liked 1. The friendly staff, at reception, the maintenance man, the security guard and at the restaurant. 2. The breakfast, sadly it did not have a cappuccino; 3. The location is very convenient; 4. The executive suit was great, but could have had more cupboard space, more plugs, and a larger bar fridge. Maintenance really needs to improve: the TV remote was only switching on/off, the maintenance man sent through confirmed the buttons were no longer working; the shower outlet was clogged, water damming up.

It's a small town with beautiful scenes and over 3 beaches and a nature reserve. The place is along the wild coast and is enriched with heritage and culture. The people are friendly and it is tourist attractive.

We absolutely loved the place.

We absolutely loved the place. We had the sense of being immersed in the peacefulness of nature, amongst lush coastal vegetation and magnificent views of the ocean and the beach. The staff were super-friendly and so hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely visit again.

The coastal scenery including Hole in the Wall is...

The coastal scenery including Hole in the Wall is magnificent. The road conditions were good but caution has to be exercised because of speed humps and animals. Facilities at beaches are in line with a very remote location. Local "Tourist guides" tend to pester you to try an earn some income in an area where employment prospects are essentially non existent. Safety was not a problem

Personnel (reception, bar, dinners) were friendly and helpful. Dinners were tasty, specifically the seafood platters. Room was spacious and security good. Good fishing from the rocks to the right of the `hotel.

A small and secluded costal town with the most beautiful natural surroundings. Stunning sunrises over the ocean and sunsets over Morgan Bay Cliffs. Lots of hiking trails and a lovely beach and lagoon.

Lovely beach with ratepayers association and local...

Lovely beach with ratepayers association and local businesses trying their best to make the town a good destination for tourists. We could not swim for 4 days in Gonubie Beach due to sewage spill higher up the river. Untill Buffalo City can guarantee safe quality of water I will sadly not return to Gonubie - we had to travel 40km to alternative beach for the 4 days.

If you are planning a trip to Port Edward, be sure not to miss a stay on the stunning Baby Blue Houseboat, an outstanding experience! The hosts were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and hospitable, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. The accommodation was absolutely stunning, beautifully presented, and exceeded our expectations. From the incredible location to the overall trip experience, everything was perfect.
