The views of the mountain were great. Everything was clean and we were in a great location. The hotel had everything we needed for our stay too. We didn’t have time to use the sauna but went to the restaurant and the honest bar/lounge.

It was one of the best views ever from a room I stayed in. Wengen is amazing and Hotel Alpenruhen's location is excellent. You can see the entire Lauterbrunnen valley below. Hotel is 12 mins of train ride from Lauterbrunen and then a 7-8 min slight uphill walk from Wengen train station. They pick you up and drop you off at check in and check out which is very nice. The room is spacious, modern and luxurious. Breakfast area is comfortable and food was delicious.

The elegant chalet-style Hotel Maya Caprice is located just 656 feet from the Männlichen Cable Car in the center of the car-free village of Wengen, which is only reachable by train.
