Resorts in Lucerne

Check in was very easy, the lake view was great, room was large and comfy, breakfast was very good, staff was very helpful and there was a parking spot for the car.

I stayed at Seminarhotel Romerohaus in Lucerne for one night (12–13 December), and I really enjoyed the experience. The hotel gave me a nostalgic student / university dorm vibe, which honestly took me back to my uni days in a very positive way. The atmosphere felt calm, simple, and welcoming, and I was genuinely happy with the stay. The room was clean, warm, and comfortable, and everything worked as expected. The staff were friendly and helpful — one of them even reminded me of Lucius Malfoy from Harry Potter 😄, which added a fun and memorable touch to the experience. Lucerne itself also has a bit of a magical, Harry Potter–like atmosphere, especially in winter.

Super friendly staff who really made an extra effort, even if we only stayed for one night. Clean, comfortable room, nice big terrace for dinner, EV charging point reserved for us. Nice location for walks.

The view and location are unparalleled. Dining at the hotel bar is a pleasure.

Great room and fantastic breakfast, best breakfast we had on our 7 day tour od Switzerland. Girls at reception were exceptional and friendly, we would definitely stay there again.

This hotel was absolutely fantastic. The room was specious, with large windows that could be opened, allowing in plenty of fresh air. The hotel's location was excellent - right next to the train station and ona the edge of the old town, but in a quiet street. We had a tasty, diverse breakfast buffet.

Had a very pleasant stay. We checked in late and over-slept in the next morning, and the staff was kind enough to call us before breakfast service ends so we wouldn’t miss it. Great hospitality and friendly people. Would stay here again!

The location is spectacular, right in front of the lake and has everything at walking distance. The service and facilities were amazing as well. They have great restaurants and a bar on location which made it amazing for us to have a good evening since we couldn’t go out because of the rain. Overall a great stay for us.

We were upgraded to a different part of the hotel, it was beautiful! The property is magnificent! We enjoyed the funicular and boat ride into Lucerne, that is a great option to have at the property.

The breakfast buffet was nice, with a variety of hot and cold dishes. The restaurant was superb, though pricey. It’s worth it to splurge a little during the holidays. The staff are all very friendly. The wellness/spa/heated pools are very clean and wonderful. Love the outdoor heated infinity pool.
