Breakfast great, location right in the center of Taormina. Yes, you have to climb some stairs to get from the street to the door of the property, but stairs are everywhere in the city, it is a city in stairs and this is one of the beauties of Taormina :) Hosts helpful, Federico guided us very clearly. A very clean place. I really liked the pillow, it's rare that a hotel pillow suits me.

Our room comfort, amenities, and views from the long balcony were excellent. Beyond expectation. The host was very attentive and helpful for checking us in and out of the room, and local attractions especially the Isola Bella beach, scenic tasty restaurants, getting us up to the main town by cable car. Maybe the best stay of our two-week trip in southern Italy.

Just a 5-minute walk from Taormina's main square, Casa Cuseni, Patrimonio Culturale Immateriale UNESCO is a historical B&B housed in a museum of fine arts declared a national monument.

Casa Cuseni is a special place for Sicily, Italy and the world with people of diverse knowledge, art, literature, science, politics, and history lived. A museum full of history of arts including Picasso’s paintings and a beautiful “secret” garden are treasures for visitors to explore. We stayed in Picasso Suite where Picasso once lived and Hemingway wrote his first book. The suites have very large rooms, and modern bathrooms. The views of Etna and sea are breathtaking. We felt lucky to be able to stay in such a beautiful and special place. Many thanks to Fabio, Maria and everyone for hosting us and your efforts to conserving and sharing the history with us.
