Beautiful place to relax and unwind right by the beach and we had the room where we can step out and a short few steps through grass into the sand of the beach. The buffet is unbelievably fantastic. The hopper ladies make the best milk coppers with Jaggery 🤪

Great place for peace and calm. The cultural experience at Blue Diamond left us with many stories and wonderful memories. The hotel facilities and room service are exceptional, and the staff are accommodating and friendly. I chose Blue Diamond for its commitment to eco-friendly practices. From recycling programs to energy-saving measures, they prioritize environmental conservation without compromising comfort.

The best part of our stay was the owner, Stefan. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and understanding, ensuring all our needs were met with great generosity. The property is in an excellent location, close to the beach, other tourist places and surrounded by plenty of great food options. The breakfast was also delicious.

The property is beachfront and absolutely perfect. It’s very convenient to walk to nearby restaurants and bars. In the morning, you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise right from your room. The staff are exceptionally friendly, polite, and always willing to help. Their service and hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay at this hostel for 2 nights. The owner was incredibly friendly, supportive, and always available whenever we needed any assistance, which made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. We stayed in a 4-bed dorm, which was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The property itself is nice, decent, and offers a relaxing atmosphere. One of the things is main party beach is little far away but we can easily book cab or tuk tuk Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with a warm and helpful host.

Really beautiful location right on the beach. The new owner Shankar is doing a great job of continuously improving the property. You see positive changes everyday. The manager Riz was a huge reason our stay was so wonderful. He helped with everything from our booking, to arranging our food, to getting embellishments to our room as needed. Very much recommend this as a great place to stay in the area. The Sri Lankan food in the restaurant was also fantastic- probably the best in the area.

Large, clean, comfy room overlooking the green courtyard. Extremely helpful and friendly, knowledgeable staff who arranged motor scooter hire, a snorkeling trip, and a tut tut back into Trincomalee bus station on our final day. All the food was delicious, choice of Sri Lankan or western breakfast, and we were able to buy beer at the restaurant. A short walk from the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and whole heartedly recommend this accommodation - it’s good value for money for the size of room. A tut tut into the city costs SLR $1500-2000

Very lovely owner who gave us tips on what to do in the area. The room was great value. Had everything you need for a few nights stay. The location was great, very close to the beach and restaurants were right next door. Would stay here again.

The property was clean and tidy. The staff was very kind and helpful! Even helped us cleaning our Tuktuk, very friendly staff group. Room was good, hot water and bed was also nice. Pool was very refreshing. Close to many restaurants and easy to find. Beach is just in a walking distance. Would recommend!
