Rosa and family run a very clean and comfortable hotel in Zambujeira. We enjoyed the location, very convenient to the Vicentina Fisherman’s Trail and lovely beach in town. Rosa’s restaurant by the same name, Sol Dourado, is a few blocks away and provided us a delightful experience dining on beautifully prepared prawns, fish and percebis, the small local shellfish. Breakfast also was delicious. Their service at the restaurant and hotel was outstanding!

This property is spacious, relaxing, clean, and comfortable. We loved how nice (Tania?) was and how she took time out of her busy day to interact with my young daughter. My daughter loved the pool even though it was cool in November. We actually choose here because we needed to do laundry halfway through our trip and they let us help ourselves to the washing machines, which was super helpful. We felt at home here. The holiday cottage had a kitchen that was just right for us to cook dinner. The property grounds had pretty flowers, eucalyptus trees and citrus trees blossoming. We met Poochi and enjoyed the antics of the friendly cats on the property. The nearby beaches are: WOW!

The location was right on the rota vicentina - halfway between Almograve and zambujeira. It has what a house has - washer (great for washing hiking gear), kitchen, shower. But what makes this place really special is the host - Filipe is a wonderful and caring host who went out of his way to make my stay enjoyable!
