The apartment was huge and the bed was comfortable. The balcony was a nice place to relax at the end of the day. There was sufficient equipment to prepare meals if you'd prefer. Francka was such a friendly and welcoming host as was her friend who was helping her during our stay. The internet speed was good. There are a few good restaurants and ice cream shops within walking distance and Lake Bohinj is a quick drive or bike ride away.

We enjoyed our stay at this very interesting loft apartment converted from a traditional Slovenian hayrack. Hostess was outstanding, providing delicious strudel and schnaps. The road to the apartment ran through a beautiful field of wildflowers and provided great views of the Slovenian Alps. We enjoyed exploring the Lake Bohinj area (much less crowded than Lake Bled). Hostess provided a helpful map of nearby attractions; we loved the gondola ride at Vogel; views were spectacular. Location in Jereka was convenient to restaurants in Bohinska Bistrica.

An amazing place right on the ski hill. If you want to stay on the mountain and be the first person on the ski lift this is the place for you. Cozy rustic place where you can read your book in the evening by the old fire furnace and eat home made food. We were lucky since at the end of the season we were the only people in the hut except the lady that was managing it and cooking for us. We felt the place was just ours.

Located in Bohinj and with Aquapark & Wellness Bohinj reachable within a 6-minute walk, House Budkovič has concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a private beach area, free WiFi and a shared lounge.
