Dar Gabriel provides comfortable accommodations--the room and especially the bathroom are relatively spacious by Moroccan "Dar" standards, with places to hang your clothes. It's located on a lane attractive enough that you'll have to make your way past other tourists and visitors usiing it for their photo backdrop. But I think easily overlooked is one of its best features: it's near the edge of the medina, a short walk from a plaza where a taxi can let you off or where you can get a taxi when you leave. (There's also a farmer's market in the plaza 2 days a week.) Don't understimate the value of not having to tote your suitcases deep into the medina.

Everything about this hotel from the warm hospitality to the luxurious accommodations made my trip unforgettable. 1. Check-In and Service: From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine smiles and a professional yet friendly attitude. The check-in process was seamless and efficient. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They were always available throughout my stay, ensuring I had everything I needed without being intrusive. 2. The Room: My room was simply perfect – clean, spacious, and beautifully designed with modern decor and thoughtful touches. The room had all the amenities I needed, including a Wi-Fi connection. 3. Restaurant : The hotel’s restaurant deserves special praise – breakfast was a highlight, with an extensive variety of fresh, high-quality options, from pastries to local specialties with Moroccan tea. 4. Location: The hotel’s location is ideal, heart of the city, a peaceful neighborhood, close to key attractions, making it easy to explore nearby sights. Great restaurants are within walking distance, which was incredibly convenient. Despite its central location, the hotel itself was quiet and peaceful, offering the perfect escape at the end of the day.

From the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional. The owners clearly care deeply about every detail, from the warm hospitality at check-in to the beautiful scent of incense throughout the hostel that made the entire space feel peaceful, clean, and calming. The interior design is stunning, the rooftop is beautiful, and the atmosphere throughout the hostel feels serene in a way that’s rare to find while traveling. The breakfast was honestly the best I’ve had at any hostel. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, and the overall experience made this stay feel far beyond a typical hostel experience. I stayed in the shared room on the first floor and found the bed very comfortable. I already know that whenever I return to Chefchaouen, I’ll be staying here again, and next time I’d love to experience one of the private rooms upstairs.

Newly opened Riad , very central just few minutes walk from the main square . Staff is attentive and helpful and the cleanliness is top notch Breakfast is superb best we had so far in Morocco Highly recommended if you’re visiting Chefchaouen for a night or two

The rooms were beautifully furnished with great design. We had the room for 4 people and it was perfect. Youssef was so helpful and kind, he came to meet us in the nearby parking lot to help us bring our suitcases to the Riad. The breakfast in the morning was also delicious and plentiful. The view on the terrace is very beautiful. I highly recommend this Riad!

The staff were so helpful and friendly! We had some issues with a taxi not showing up for us and Mohammed (one of the staff / managers) called his friend to help us. The amenities were excellent and breakfast on the terrace was delicious. This Riad is central in the Medina! Would stay here again!

Very clean, well maintained, and great staff. Maybe the best stay of our entire morocco trip, even better than the Hyatt in Casablanca. Communication was top notch. They helped meet us at the nearby parking location and brought us to the nearby Riyad. We were offered our choice of rooms. This was the cold season, but the rooms were pre-heated for us, a very nice touch. Rooms were very clean and they maintained a high standard. The rooms are well appointed, and furnishings were very nice as well. Location was great, very close to the city center, but also very quiet. The breakfast was amazing. 10/10 breakfast, maybe the best of our entire trip. I wish we had stayed here longer.

Location is great and the staffs were flexible in allowing us to use the facilities while waiting to check out. Highly recommended.
