Large rooms, clean, good location

Excellent facility, staff, and breakfast! The front desk especially helped me with a booking issue that wasn’t their fault, and they went above and beyond to help resolve it. The breakfast was so delicious, and hotel parking garage was great for our somewhat larger vehicle. Will stay again next time!

Great location, right across from the Porta Nigra. Short walk to the train station. Room was much bigger than I was expected and comfortable.

Everything bt the high Lite was the Bartender! Food and staff are superb. Everything was really nice!

Staff was exceptional, my wife was sick for a day+, xtra room service was needed and we got it in spades, kudos. Room was dated but super nice, large with a big bathroom and view of the stream/path. Pool and spa was exceptional- for a hotel, way above average. My wife and I used the steam sauna daily, albeit the sick day! There is also an infrared sauna and a shower that had max pressure, sweet! E- charger was complimentary. Restaurant at hotel was very busy and one of the best in the area, great food and service. Terrific location, can walk down stream path, then path where vegetable gardens are located, you come out (after going under 3 road underpass) at the Roman wall, south end. Roughly a 20 min fast walk. Staff spoke English and were super helpful, all smiles, totally enjoyed my stay here.

It's a very nice hotel, very clean and seems like it was recently renovated. It's a nice location and has everything you need. A very nice surprise!

Everything was wonderful, comfortable clean cozy food amazing both at breakfast and dinner staff was great. You can start hiking right from the property. Wines are great outside area wonderful.

Our stay here exceed all of our expectations. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time at Weingut & Gästehaus GiwerGreif. The garden on the property was the epitome of peace, and the perfect place to share a bottle of wine with someone you love. Our room was immaculate, the breakfast in the cellar every morning was beautiful, and everyone we met was so kind. Peter and Sandra were the most gracious hosts to share their piece of Heaven with us.

The BEST hotel I’ve ever stayed in! The beds were comfy, the room fantastic, and the view simply could not be beat! Our concierge was also the sweetest person ever, and greeted us with sparkling wine and walked us to our rooms. The water pressure was fantastic and the bathrooms beautiful.

Everything. This may well be our favourite place they we have ever stayed. The restaurant was such a delicious surprise that we wanted to be sure to have our meals on site.

Breakfast was fine. The location is OK, but a bit far away from the centre of Trier. I just needed a bed for the night and didn't check the public transport. The restaurant was excellent.

Beautiful, spacious, nice views, clean, great breakfast buffet. Beds are comfy, great mattresses, and choice of different kinds of pillows.
