Romantic Hotels in Chinon

The hosts were exceptionally accommodating, served us local delicacies and let us just linger with a glass of wine overlooking the beautiful garden. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location super convenient to the medieval city.

What a lovely stay - the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Beautiful place and good sized room. Easy to get to by car and parking right out front. Short drive in to Chinon and was a great location for touring chateaus in the region. Strongly recommend!

The decor was beautiful ,both artistic and practical.even the breakfast nook ,which was recently renovated had a lovely banquette .

Best breakfast we've had in France. Owners were so friendly and really wanted to make the stay great. Our toddler loved walking around and petting their cats. The bed was comfy and we loved keeping the windows and door open for lovely fresh breeze. Everything was perfect!

Manfred is a very pleasant host and has furnished the accommodation with great care and high quality. The communal dinner with the other guests was a particularly enjoyable experience. The property hides a very exciting secret that I don't want to reveal here yet. We were very impressed. It is located a little way from the highway, but it is incredibly quiet with a spacious garden. The house dog has character, but if you like dogs, this is the place for you.

The location, house and most of all the family are absolutely exceptional. If you would like to really experience French hospitality and cooking it's a brilliant place to stay.

Our host met us on arrival and was very friendly and welcoming. The suite was spacious and bright with a huge comfortable bed. The breakfast was continental style with a choice of home-made jams and bread and pastries that were fresh straight from the boulangerie, among other things. The chambre d'hote is surrounded by countryside, perfect for a tranquil evening stroll. The nearest town is only 10 minutes drive away for restaurants etc if needed. Would stay again.

Our hosts were most accommodating. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was a treat with homemade jams. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay out in the country.
