Fabulous hotel with excellent customer service, a gorgeous bedroom and excellent amenities. The owner has upgraded this beautifully renovated mansion. The sauna, hot tub pool and well stocked bar made the visit perfect. Our favorite place in the Louri Valley!

Pascal is a very gracious host. Warm and very welcoming. The property is stunning, with beautiful gardens to explore and is full of charm. My wife and I stayed in the cottage, which was exquisite. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. Pascal also offers to make dinner for you. Do not miss this; he is a terrific chef.

Le Grand Saint-Marc is a gem in Vendôme, an absolute must to visit in the Loire Valley. This is a stunning property with rooms in a renovated historic abbey that are spacious, clean, and cozy. All rooms feature a book on the history of Le Grand Saint-Marc. Our welcoming host helped us with the perfect dinner reservation, provide excellent recommendations to explore the downtown, and treated us to our best breakfast of the trip. We hope to come back!

Everything was perfect as far as reception, location and accommodations! The place “ bord de mer” is “pieds dans l’eau” with option to swim directly in the Atlantic or in a warm salt water pool.. the salt air is fresh, the scenery wild but invigorating. A perfect gateway calling back for more!

Stephanie is an amazing host. She makes you feel like you’re at home. She also cooked dinner for us. Very tasty and generous servings. The room was clean and comfy. Not the most spacious but very pleasant nonetheless. Excellent bedding must also be noted.

Our host met us on arrival and was very friendly and welcoming. The suite was spacious and bright with a huge comfortable bed. The breakfast was continental style with a choice of home-made jams and bread and pastries that were fresh straight from the boulangerie, among other things. The chambre d'hote is surrounded by countryside, perfect for a tranquil evening stroll. The nearest town is only 10 minutes drive away for restaurants etc if needed. Would stay again.

Au Relais Saint Maurice is a bed and breakfast. In Chinon, in the Center region, country of the Loire Castles.
