The location was everything we had hoped for—tranquil, serene, perfect for families, and offering breathtaking views. Breakfast and dinner were nothing short of exceptional.

The location was very much in the centre of the pedestrian zone. Very close to shops and the park. Breakfast was very good too. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We really liked this place and had a wonderful stay. A few key highlights: - ​Outstanding Service: We received a warm welcome despite a late check-in, and they even organized an off-hours dinner for us. The staff was also incredibly attentive and helpful with small requests. - ​Dietary Care: They were amazing and very caring regarding dairy restrictions, which we truly appreciated. - ​Amenities & Comfort: The rooms are absolutely beautiful, convenient parking, a great location. - ​Wellness & Food: The Saunawelt and pools are amazing, the massage service was excellent, and the food throughout our stay was delicious. Highly recommend this hotel! It is a gem for people with dietary restrictions.

Great hotel with spacious rooms and lots of storage! The restaurant had terrific food and the hotel is in a great location to walk to other restaurants and shops. You can even walk to the Predigtstuhlbahn, a cable car that takes you to the top of Predigtstuhl.

I like Bad Reichenhall, It is a very cozy and picturesque place. Even if there weren't so many tourists oriented points around, I'd be getting pleasure just walking through this town. I like the Avalon hotel: its kind stuff, its cozy cafe on the ground floor, its warm atmosphere, and many, many other small things that leave a very pleasant impression. I'd especially express my thanks for disconnecting the rain detector from the marquis management system. This year, I had a chance to have a cigarette looking at the beautiful mountain view sitting on the balcony while it was raining..

Breakfast was fantastic! Air Conditioning was a must. The older gentleman (not really old, but older of the two we met) was so helpful and friendly!

Alpenstadthotels was such a lovely hotel in Bad Reichenhall! I would absolutely stay here again! The room was great, the location was great, breakfast was delicious, etc.

Joseph, the owner and host is the warmest person you will meet. Made us feel at home instantly and definitely made our holiday memories fond and memorable due to his generous gestures and accommodative nature. I will book again for sure.

Excellent location, just a few steps from the beautiful Kurgarten. Clean and tidy rooms, a very kind and welcoming hostess, and the lovely cat makes the ambiance even warmer.

Amazing stay in this hotel even though just for 2 nights. Hospitality was felt strongly during the whole stay as well the attention to the details. I got a room with high ceilings which has exactly everything you might need. There was a large light modern bathroom with separate window and swiss hairdryer was a practical add-on. I appreciated the tiny details - possibility to make your own tea/coffee anytime, using the guest fridge, perfect lighting in the room, nice view from the balcony over the mountains with the cable car and the balcony even had a sun umbrella and nice table and cushioned seat. Breakfasts were amazing with very attentive lady, on the table never missed fresh flowers. Great selection of pastries, vegetables, fruits salami and also 3types of Honey. Decorations and general atmosphere very lovely, I truly enjoyed the stay. Parking was very convenient just next to the hotel.

The location of this place is amazing — it's the closest place to the entrance to the Rupert's spa, which is great when, warmed by the pools and saunas you want to get home right away. The staff were very friendly and attentive to all of our requests. Our room was clean and comfy, the breakfast buffet gave plenty of choices. The room has a small kitchenette with a fridge and a stove — enough to cook something when you don't want to eat out. We felt right at home during our trip and enjoyed our stay!

The apartment was very spacious and very clean. And the view of the mountain was special. Also some good walking by the river close by.
