Rooms in Cong

Lakeland House is well located in Cong, within walking distance to the town centre (i.e. 15 minute walk). We stayed in the top room for 7 people with a private bathroom, although there was only 4 of us (2 parents and 2 children). We loved the space and the children loved having their own bunkbed each! Great stay for the weekend. The whole house was incredibly clean and functional. We'd come back again.

Room was clean and nicely decorated. Plenty of space to store luggage and clothing. Bed was very comfortable. Don't expect the Ritz Carlton. It is not that, but was quaint, comfortable and clean and in a historic building. Breakfast was very good. Staff were very friendly. Would love to come back for a longer stay.

The Lodge way exceeded our expectations, its almost value for money (inspite of it not being cheap) because of so much to do around the place

The accommodation is right next to a stream and has parking available in front. The breakfast was delicious and served hot. The room was clean, convenient, and close to a supermarket.

Awesome location. Beautiful views and lovely walking down roads to nearby lake. Beautiful facility and large dining area with fridge access. Close to Cong and nearby sites, ie. Connemara and Kylemore Abbey.

We really enjoyed our stay here, absolutely perfect accommodation. Micheal was very welcoming and informative of the area, places to eat, walking, attractions etc. our room was beautiful, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed, including coffee/tea making supplies and a lovely selection of biscuits. The breakfast was really good and Micheal was very accommodating offering selection of breakfast options. We had full Irish which was perfect. I would highly recommend this beautiful home to family and friends and will stay here again next time we are down this way

Absolutely lovely house in West Ireland, Bernadette was a wonderful host — we had car trouble and arrived late and she had tea waiting for us in the sitting room. The house was impeccably clean and neat, she was so kind and friendly. We felt well cared for, the room was very comfortable. Surrounding garden and area was gorgeous, and very close to Cong.

A gorgeous little hideaway. Loved every minute of our stay, freshly baked scones with a welcome on arrival.
