United StatesOnly thing I would change is there was not enough hot water, we stayed in the center room, shower water was warm for the first person taking a shower, not hot. But it was not warm for the second person, it was lukewarm. Needed to wait 5 or 10 minutes in between each person. Taking a shower for the water tank to heat up. If it's on the manned hot water, then they need to turn the temperature up.
Other than that, this place is absolutely amazing. A little pricey at $256 for us each night, but you are getting what you pay for. We weren't expecting such a wonderful place, big bathroom, comfortable bed, hot tub on the deck overlooking the river area, very quiet. There's only three hotel rooms, no staff on site so you call the number and they give you the code to get in the lock box.
This was a last minute stay for us, we just happened to stop in the city. It got dark and we decided to stay and this was the only room available in the entire city. We were trying to stay within a budget, we definitely did not with this place, but you are definitely getting your money's worth. If you do stay here. When we called the number to get the code to get the key, the guy was great on the phone so make sure you have local service. If you're from out of country. We would definitely stay here again even though it's out of our budget because it is that nice. You will definitely be impressed, there's also a supermarket and a smoothie place directly across the street to get some food that you can cook in the microwave or put in the little refrigerator.

Walkability:You can walk anywhere and get food or supplies that you may need. You could also walk to the castle from here and take the tour

It was close to the town and on arrival very easy to check in. You had the use of kitchen facilities and an unsuited bedroom with spacious rooms and very high quality decor and a good hire shower. A modern house with excellent customer service.

The owners Paddy and Dorothy were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom was large as well. The bedding was good quality and the towels were soft and fluffy, the bed was very comfortable. The shower was powerful and hot. It is in a quiet location so we got a good nights sleep, with no noise from outside. The breakfast was very good all cooked fresh to order, with cereal and juice to start, followed by a cooked breakfast and toast and bread. Dorothy's homemade rhubarb jam was amazing.

Breakfast and Dinner were fantastic, really good location, plenty of parking, and the room we had was incredible. Large, Spacious and plenty of room as well as a well finished Bathroom. Staff were professional and incredibly helpful when we asked questions and took us to our room the first time. Highly recommended

The location of Riverside house is great not smack bang in town but only a short trip across the bridge just below Donegal Castle on the River Esk
The Proprietor Brendon was very generous and eager to make my stay enjoyable,due to an issue with my rooms door lock I was given an upgrade to a larger room which was most generous! Brendon is a wonderfull host.

The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was the best cooked breakfast I have had. But as a lone guest the service at times was slow and I seemed to be forgotten about in preference to larger parties.
My room was very roomy and I was pleasantly surprised how spacious it was with a nice private patio area with a table and chairs a nice touch.

The weather was amazing so it was lovely to see a great outdoor space with plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy the sun. Our room was beautiful, very clean and spacious with everything we needed. Staff were very friendly and accommodating especially in the restaurant and with our 8 month baby! Swimming pool was lovely and very clean. Beautiful hotel, we had a really lovely stay.

Quiet, tranquil and luxurious. Every member of staff made us feel like we were the only ones there. Food was superb, the breakfasts were unbelievable. Our rooms were spotless, spacious and quiet. We've booked again for 4 months time. Cocktails were stunning

- good location. Not in the centre of Donegal town but close to enough to walk to.
- hotel seems relatively new, good facilities. I had messaged prior to arriving to ask if our bedroom would have a bath fitted as my little girl with autism does not like showers and they said they would mark us down for a room with a bath which was lovely and accommodating.
-friendly and accommodating reception staff.

Our room was spacious and very clean. Location is just a few minutes walk to the town, which was great for us staying for the day two of a wedding, and was great for a walk to breakfast in the morning - although the hotel does have a lovely restaurant.

Very conveniently located between Ballyshannon and Donegal Town in a lovely location. Beautiful self contained apartment with living room and kitchenette downstairs, very spacious bedroom upstairs. Very tastefully decorated, all facilities you could ask for in place. Lovely and very welcoming host, couldn’t have asked for any more. Highly recommended!

Stayed here in December with my husband and some other family members. Our room was really lovely and very spacious. The jacuzzi bath was just perfect. View from our room was beautiful. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely come back.next year
