Rooms in Unzen

I loved the private onsen bath in your room. It was a hit with the family.

We were in a traditional Japanese room with one bed which worked out perfectly for our family of four adults. There were two sitting areas in the room which made is very spacious. Staff came in to set up the futons for three of us which was really nice. The onsen on site was very relaxing.

Dinner and breakfast were marvelous.Staff was very accommodating about one of our food allergies. Helpful;good English speakers

The owner was very welcoming and friendly, all the locals who came by were also very fun and friendly, they invited out us for a short outing nearby as well. The onsen was a nice touch. Main social room was cozy with lots of personality, the dorm and bathrooms were good for a quick night in a mountain town.

Great location in Unzen, close to town, Unzen ropeway and walks Very chic, restrained elegance. Very professional welcome and private escort to room. Quiet restful beautiful setting gazing out to garden and autumn foliage. Excellent evening Kaisei meal. Excellent inside and outside onsen. Room was just gorgeous.

This was my 5th or 6th time staying at this Inn. I will return again in 2 weeks. I stay here because of the great kitchen to cook our own meal. The steaming vents outside are excellent and all the guests are always friendly towards each other. I always bring Oysters, Crab and other seafood to cook. The owner recognized me and pulled out a photograph of me on my motorcycle from October 2022. It made me smile. Best place for me in Obama Onsen

Great location (close to all amenities) but not next to them. The room is the largest of the trip.

View of the pond from the room and even better watching the sunset. Very comfortable stay and a well kept place away from the main road but just a short walk to everything in Unzen. The host Takashi-san is very kind and a wonderful person.

This is an outstanding unique property if you like hot thermal spas. While I am not a fan of public bathing I found some hours when no one was there and I snuck in. What a luxury!!!! For next year I am getting suite with the private hot thermal spa so I don’t have to worry about the privacy. That having been said this place is six stars the service the food the Japanese ambiance and the entire experience is complete. I am an international traveler and I go to high end places only. This place was an amazing surprise in the middle of Unzen. I highly highly recommend it
