The location is perfect....the staff was wonderful and the room was to die for....spectacular sunsets right on the water...falling asleep to the waves is a dream come true.

We had a fabulous 2- night stay in this gorgeous verdant place tucked away down a quiet road a 10 minute walk from Kablana beach. Loved everything about it: the warmth of the staff, the fantastic private cabanas, the occasional peacocks and monkeys on the roof tops and the sound of birds, chipmunks and geckos...oh, and the most delicious a la carte breakfast. Pure delight and excellent value for money...We stayed as a couple but the place is perfect for young families, and it was lovely to see so many there. Do not hesitate to book!

A beautiful hotel in the perfect location right on Kabalana Beach. The staff and owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. Because of the conflict back home in the Middle East, I was unexpectedly forced to extend my stay in Sri Lanka. The hotel was fully booked, but the owners went out of their way to help me find a more affordable place nearby so I could stay in the same area. They even allowed me to use their shower facilities whenever I came back from the beach, which was incredibly thoughtful given the situation I was in. Thank you for your kindness—my stay in Sri Lanka will always be memorable not only because of its beauty, but because of the hospitality I experienced.

Absolutely loved my stay at Tao Villa. The place was peaceful, beautiful, and had such a calming vibe from the moment I arrived. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and made me feel at home the entire time. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. One of my favorite parts was the atmosphere so relaxing and perfect for slowing down and enjoying the moment. The hospitality here is truly something special. I honestly didn’t want to leave. I highly recommend a tiny house to anyone looking for a cozy, peaceful, and unforgettable stay. Can’t wait to come back again 🤍

Everything! The room was absolutely stunning and the property is very centrally located, walking distance to the town/beach which was really helpful. The owners helped us with some great recommendations for things to do around town. A big shout out to the staff who made sure we had a super comfortable stay!

We spent unforgettable days at Hotel SOLA with our family, and it truly felt like a little paradise. Nestled in the lush gjungle, the hotel offered a unique jungle atmosphere that we absolutely loved. The natural surroundings were full of life—monkeys, peacocks and plenty of different birds. It was peaceful, immersive, and deeply relaxing. The rooms are spacious, and beautifully designed with nature in mind. We especially appreciated the private balconies that looked out over the gardens. Our kids had the time of their lives! Between splashing around in the large pool, exploring the wide-open estate, and learning about all the local fruit trees, they were constantly engaged and excited. They even got to enjoy fresh coconuts picked straight from the trees, which was a total highlight. The food was awesome and a great combination of Sri Lankan and continental cuisine. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their genuine hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Overall, Hotel SOLA exceeded all of our expectations. It’s a perfect destination for families looking to relax, reconnect with nature, and create lasting memories.
