The location was very convenient as it was so close to the bus station. The room was also extremely comfortable, and very well insulated. The breakfast was also varied and really tasty as well. There were pastries additional to your order every day that made everything even better.

Pretty much everything - the staff are amazing, the facilities are one of a kind in Gozo, and it’s a perfect getaway for any couple. Would recommend a 100 times over.

Gorgeous setting overlooking lush canyon and farmland with beautiful classically appointed rooms. Easy access to all of Gozos main attractions. and especially beautiful Xlendi which is a short walk away with great swimming and dining opportunities. Grace and all of the staff were very helpful providing useful advice about things not to miss on Gozo. The breakfasts were amazing!

The rooms are very generous and beautiful. The staff is very friendly, helpful and uncomplicated. The breakfast ist extraordinal - you can select from a wide variety that they prepare then for you. The hotel is located right in the heart of Victoria - a few minutes of the central bus station linking the whole island of Gozo as well as a few minutes from the heart of Victoria.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. The location is great, lots of restaurants to choose from. The afternoon sun shines on our balcony so it was perfect for a late afternoon glass of wine, very relaxing. I guess if there’s one negative it’s the church bells that ring often, but ear plugs at night work just fine. I would definitely recommend 39 St George. Thank you!

My partner and I recently stayed at The Duke Boutique Hotel in Gozo, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Breakfast was particularly great, with a wide selection of fresh and tasty choices to start the day right. The staff were lovely and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Beautiful old restored building. Second floor outside terrace has incredible views of Citadel and Basilica. Rooms have gorgeous stone walls. large bathroom. Breakfast was amazing. Homemade cakes, quiche, pancakes, yogurt, meat and cheese.

I liked everything about the place: it feels like you've come to visit relatives for the summer. The house itself is very cozy. The room isn't small, but it isn't very large either. The bed is big and comfortable. The shower room is excellent, provided with shampoo and shower gel. There's a spacious closet and a small work area with a desk and chair. And there was a small balcony, which added a touch of charm to the place.

The place is close to the citadel, victoria busstand. I got a room with ample of space and a small garden. The breakfast was great and is served in time. The hosts are really helpful and polite. In the night if you keep the garden side door open, you will be attacked by mosquitos. But if you keep them close then you have a peaceful sleep. All in all a great comfortable place to stay and relax.

Nestled in the quite area of Gozo’s capital Victoria, is this hidden gem called The Carob Tree. It’s like a mix of a B&B and a Boutique Hotel and it’s absolutely gorgeous. With only 6 rooms, we were lucky enough to book the best room in the house: the suite with terrace overlooking the pool area. When we arrived we were greeted by the owners, Matthew and Clementa and they immediately made us feel at home because that’s exactly what The Carob Tree’s vibe is: A home away from home. The B&B is immaculately clean and the pool area is just a place of pure bliss to relax and recuperate after 3 days of dancing at Defected Malta. The bed was so comfortable we just wanted to lie in as long as we could before breakfast was served which was amazing as well. We totally enjoyed our stay at The Carob Tree and want to thank Matthew and Clementa for the fantastic restaurant recommendations and for making our stay an incredible one in Gozo! 20/10
