The property was small and personal , staff so welcoming,and the rooms very spacious , modern and extremely clean. Great location for Malecon, and brilliant views from rooftop pool and verandas, close access to beach with chairs and parasol free to use for guests. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast in patio area a bonus .

Everything is great in this place. The rooms, the location, the staff. The only thing I might say it can improve is the pool, it’s very small for the amount of people staying, I couldn’t even use it because it was full of people. Other than that it was quite a great experience

Amazing hotel. We LOVED the location. The design is just beautiful but what makes it the best hotel in the area is its staff. We truly appreciated all of them. Amazing pools. The rooftop one has an incredible view. We also strongly recommend the Sunday Drag Brunch which was so much fun. Food is also top notch. Thank you for a wonderful time. We will be back.

A Mexican authentic family home turned into a family run guesthouse run by an amazing family. The emphasis on family, because you will really feel part of it from day 1. One block away from the lively Malecon where you can watch beautiful sunsets and enjoy the Pacific Ocean coming in. Facilities like a bus station or an OXXO store are all less than a minute walk away. Even though it's very close to the busy area's of Puerto Vallarta, once you close the doors of your room you transfer into a serene space where you can rest from the day's activities. Not sure what to do? Ask the host or one of the members of staff. They have been very open and helpful and will give you a very extensive list of things to do and experience in the area. I know that if I am ever in the area, I will stay here again! Thank you, Sebastian and everyone!

Beautiful hotel with a phenomenal view of both the city and the bay. The accommodations were outstanding, beautifully furnished, and luxurious. Delicious food served by the restaurant and staff that go out of their way to accommodate any requests. The pools were clean and a perfect temperature. Less than a 10-min easy walk into old, colonial PV. Can’t say enough good things about Marcela Resort & Spa. Hated leaving and look forward to our return.

The location was the best close To the Malecon we were able To walk w everywhere. The place is beautiful w beach view & you can watch sunset while In outside tub w jets. The entire place was windowed and glass doors even one bedroom which was one of my fav features The rooftop access was stunning. Has nice lighting and you can see everything from there w nice seating and swings as well. The manager Abraham was so helpful and always responded to my messages. He also went above and beyond for us when we needed extra help w our luggage.

customer service was great! Paula cleaned our room and she was great! she was able to schedule the cleaning of our bedroom at times when my baby wasn't taking a nap. Daniel at the pool was great! He knew exactly what we wanted as soon as we would get to the pool. All staff was very friendly and provided great customer service. The food was delicious!

Amaca was in a great location, easily walkable to the neighborhood. The hotel itself was clean, beautiful and had a lot of information available about PV. We absolutely loved our room; it was spacious with a king size bed, hammock and built in couch. Hot water shower and AC worked perfectly and having a refrigerator in the room was a major plus. We didn't want to leave and look forward to staying here again whenever we come back to PV.

It was very pretty and authentic! The lovely staff upgraded our double room to a suite which we were so thankful for (we didn’t even ask them to, they just did it!). It’s situated on the coolest little street in PV, if you stay you have to try the Al Pastor tacos at Pancho’s Takos down the street! Our room had a massive fridge and really great air con. If we came back, we’d definitely stay here again.

Location is excellent. The murals in the lower floor entrance. The walls , the fact there is a functional kitchenette. I didn’t cook but I used the microwave oven and small fridge. The little signs to remind guests to save water and to be gentle the with the sewage plumbing. I liked the bedroom decorative tiles. The square footage was very good. The TV worked well. Wifi very good too. Instructions to get in great.
