Rooms in Swellendam

It is a very cute house in a great location in Swellendam where we felt warmly welcomed by the host and enjoyed our short stay.

Isable and Pierre as exceptional hosts! I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The reception, check-in, and recommendations are excellent. The breakfast the next morning was exceptional. The view of the mountains are great and it is walking distance to restaurants in the area.

Lovely view and having a shower and bath is very rare and was a pleasant surprise.

Everything! First of all we had the pleasure to meet the vert friendly hostess. She was very kind and thoughtful. It was an really cozy but special place to stay. We liked all the special details. We had 2 rooms with a joining balcony with a nice view on the amazing garden. We loved the breakfast that was definitly made with love and care. We would definitely recommend this place!!

We spent only one night in this historic house surrounded by beautiful nature and views. An ostrich was seen on the territory. The staff was very polite and helpful. Spacious rooms. They also offer a lot of activities, but we didn't have time to take advantage of them. Otherwise, we really liked it and didn't want to leave.

Before arriving at Wildebraam Berry Estate, Susan was great and kind. We would arrive after work time, even though she waited for us to talk about the rooms, the trial jam experience and gave us some tips to go around. We loved the space, the barbecue with woods (we didn't use it because we were tired, but it was there fr us...), the welcome letter and jam for us to try. All the wine and things for us to buy if needed. It was amazing. We loved everything. All the comfort. And also, the hot shower! We needed this!

The place is clean and the garden and grounds are well looked after.

An amazing, warm hearted and friendly host. We loved her instantly and felt like we were family. Beds were comfy and the view was beautiful.

Was a perfect family stopover along the garden route. Wish we had stayed longer! Our kids loved being able to walk around and see the animals. Spent the evening on the porch with a fire and stargazing.

We had a wonderful stay. It was a stopover on our way from the end of the Garden Route back to Cape Town, we only wish we'd stayed two nights instead of one. The bed was really comfortable with nice linens and good pillows, and the breakfast was extensive and delicious with fruit, yogurt and eggs cooked to order.

Stayed in the cottage which was amazing. Incredible views of the mountains. Everything you could want to stay warm on a chilly winters night from indoor fire to gas heater . Plenty of wood provided for both indoor and outdoor braai Bed was extremely comfortable. George was helpful
