I was well received and shown by a member of staff to my room. The room had a balcony with outdoor seating which was a pleasant surprise. The food was excellent, and I ate in the restaurant in the evening and breakfast the following morning. My bicycle storage was OK, with an out of the way place to lock my bike to an embedded ring in the wall. I felt that it was secure.

The Breakfast was tasty. The bedroom was well decorated and clean with a comfortable bed. A fan was provided which was welcome as it was hot. The bathroom was clean with a good large shower, plenty of toiletries and lovely white fluffy towels.

Good communication and very easy check in/out. Our room was really spacious, had great facilities and lovely decor. There was also a really good boot/laundry room which we didn’t use but would have been wecome had the weather been wet.

The hotel is beautifully appointed and very luxurious. Bedrooms comfortable and clean. Super views from terraces. The staff were all very accommodating especially Isaac and Callum in the bar and restaurant.

Check in was easy, we stayed in a 6bed room and were given 3keys which was very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, with 2x showers which is very useful with this many people. The beds have individual reading lights and power stations which is very convenient.
Staff was friendly and helpful, there is parking right at the door and a nice cafe next door. There is a very well equipped kitchen and a spacious lounge area.

Excellent location being so close to the centre and our room number 3 was not facing main road so was nice and quiet. Room had a fridge which was very handy a tv and there was an iron and board to use. Rooms en suite was lovely with good spacious shower. Having private parking space on property which was off street was very useful. I met a member of the staff one morning and he was very polite and asked if we needed anything.

Very attractive hotel, spacious bedroom and bathroom. Lovely breakfast, quiet bar. Staff were so helpful,eg taking care to explain where the back entrance to hotel was, in case we were back late. The windows were fully opened, so our rooms were very fresh and cool in the afternoon heat.

The setting and spacious accommodation the peaceful balcony, it was very enjoyable. A morning walk around the lanes and to the lake. In some places, it was like going back in time. Seeing so much wildlife and walking through the fields, seeing the old buildings makes you feel rested. We went to Bamburgh Castle and a working cornmill complete with waterwheel, Flodden field, Berwick all within easy reach by car. In our opinion, a wonderful place to stay.

Breakfast was the best on our trip, but yoghurt would have made it perfect. Lovely room. Bathroom spacious, shower looked antiquated but actually worked really well. Dinner lovely, generous portions. Friendly helpful staff. Parking easy. All good.
