AustraliaGreat place. if you have a car, you get a garage that's attached to your unit where you stay which is convenient. Owner was very polite, friendly and helpful; and spoke great English. The room was spacious, bed was soft and comfy and toilet / washroom were all clean.

Loved that there was plenty of information on onsen etiquette in English - but only at the indoor onsen.
The family room was spacious.
Loved the interactive art in the main corridor - a great way to spark conversations with other guests (even with language barriers).
The hotel had great "bones" with a 1980s luxe feel.

The room was clean and spacious. The hospitality was superb. The meals were delicious and beautiful. Above all, the onsen was exceptional—the temperature, the cleanliness of the bathroom, and the type of water—everything was great!

All the best except for our room is near the dog friendly zone. Unluckily, there are the baking dogs in two rooms near our room. The staffs are nice. They were willing to change us to the new room far from that zone as soon as they could. The food is the best. The staffs are the best. The view, the atmosphere and the clear sky at night are the best. Worth to stay here.

The location is great. It is in front of the beautiful museum, and a short walking distance to the castle park. There is a bakery and a convenient store located on the lobby floor. The room is tidy, and is good size to stay for few nights.

The property is situated just beside lake Tazawa which is delightful. The rooms are spacious and we had a separate dining area opposite our room. It is a traditional Japanese hotel with futon beds and kaiseki dinner plus a Japanese breakfast. It also has a ladies, mens and private onsen.

We liked our room. It was quite spacious and the staff was really nice. The location was extremely close to the station that made traveling comfortable. It's also a 25-30 minute walk from the Samurai Residencies.

Excellent facilities; very spacious and comfortable room; onsen was terrific; little extras provided like complimentary water and ice creams; really great staff who were very helpful; special thanks to staff who helped me with my mobility issues by providing a trolley at breakfast and arranging extra table space for me.
