Thank you so much for providing both pickup and drop-off! The owner was incredibly kind and friendly. Even though I went alone, I was able to enjoy the BBQ for 5,000 yen, and I bought some firewood separately to stay warm. The breakfast and BBQ prepared by the staff were both delicious! I visited in late October, and it was a bit chilly at night. There was a kerosene heater, but I think I set the timer wrong—it kept turning off every 10 minutes. Also, there was a slight kerosene smell. But the view was absolutely amazing, the accommodation was adorable and beautifully decorated, and the bedding was clean and comfortable. Sharing a restroom wasn’t a problem either. It would be nice to have rubber gloves for washing dishes! All the staff were very kind and helpful. If I visit Fuji again, I’ll definitely come back here and recommend this place to my friends.

There were so many great aspects about the property including the spacious and modern lobby, bathhouses, and views of Mt. Fuji, but by far the most exceptional and memorable part of the stay was the STAFF! Every staff member we encountered was so kind and helpful — they made a significant effort to speak English and make the international travelers comfortable.

The facilities were great. The staff were so helpful and speak English very well. I also ask for help calling a taxi on the day I checked out due to snow showers. The location is near from Kawaguchiko station, but if you have a luggage it a bit hard to take your luggage because the pedestrian is not so smooth. My room has a window which faces Mt. Fuji. It was soooo great

Big house that can fit up to 7-8 people. Comfortable beds. It was like vacation home for us. Quite surroundings but convenient as the supermarket is near by. And from master bedroom, you can see Fujisan!

The house is quite spacious in Japanese standard. Downstairs has three bedrooms with four single beds. Upstairs are mainly living area. The cleaning lady was very friendly. One of the family member TOCORO Natsumi was very nice looking and very nice to deal with. She speaks good English and she told me that she studied in Australia. She helped me by explaining the situation in Japanese all the way when my car got into trouble. She patiently showed me the correct parking spot which was hard for a non-Japanese speaker like myself.

Lovely family runs ryokan that provides a homely atmosphere. The futons were soft and comfortable. We were a big family travelling together all of us agreed that the rooms were cosy and spacious with plenty of sunlight flooding in. On top of that was we were able to see the stunning view of the Fuji mountain from our rooms. Love the traditional onsens, not one but two. Great location and the Fuji 5 lakes nearby. We initially lost our way to get there, but thanks to the friendly hosts who went outside to meet us.

The location was amazing. Not very far from the Kawaguchiko station and combinis. The rooms were comfortable and the terrace has a heavenly view of the Fuji San. I stayed in the biggest room but the others were quite decently sized.

Spacious room, I could've got another 2 people in comfortably. Our room had a view of Mt Fuji, it was great! The shared shower and WC was expected, and it is very clean. We used the kitchen (complimentary teas/coffees) and met with many people from other parts of the world, it was really good. The common facility like the dining area, garden and kitchen is well kept. The guide to local restaurants by the hotel is very helpful.

The villa is safe, clean, and comfortable. The location is at the bottom of a steep hill, with dense trees and bushes. In the early morning, I saw a fox and heard wild birds calling in the woods. There is a magnificent view of Mt. Fuji from the upper bedroom. The villa is well maintained, there were no negative points.

Definitely recommend lake Shoji and this hotel, a lot less crowded than other touristic spots around Mt Fuji. Amazing views on the mountain, great and spacious bedrooms that allow for insanely beautiful vistas in the morning, at sunset etc... Super helpful staff, great meal plans and options, beautiful onsen. We had a great time, truly

The house is exactly what the pictures show! It is spacious for a family of 3. Best part is the great view of Mt Fuji from the 2nd floor balcony. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. There is a convenient store, MacDonald’s and several restaurants within 5 mins drive. But might be a bit far if you’re not driving. The facility of the house is nice and clean. The owner usually replies fast and communicates well.
