Amazing place! Great location, comfortable room, great shower, kitchen is big and has everything you could need. The pool was perfect with great views all around. Super dog friendly and very nice host. Everything was clean and easy check in/out.

The lady who gave me the keys was very friendly and chatty and always smiling. The room was quiet and the views were great, so having meals on the terrace was calming. The surrounding areas are very quiet, within few minutes you can be in the forest going hiking. The house allows dogs.

Everything about tre property was just perfect! It is a little hidden paradise surrounded by beautiful nature. Many cosy personal details from the hosts made our stay unforgettable. I am especially thankful for the fantastic birthday present- a super nice dinner in the terrace with cava and local cheeses/ ham/ nuts etc. The pool is the best part! We could even stay a bit longer after we checked out! Thank you dear Sr Joaquim and Sra Conceicao for your attention and kindness, we will come back soon.

Very spacious room, free parking and a well stocked kitchen, at a reasonable rate. Nice garden to relax in the evening, though without lake view. Host waited for us for check in, and returned to help with wifi problem

The villa is lovely, with a gorgeous pool & beautiful view. Very spacious inside, huge kitchen diner, huge lounge, large bedrooms, and all with stunning views & direct access to the outside. And air conditioning was great! Wish we could have stayed longer! (Very friendly & understanding owner when I told him we had accidentally damaged the shower head. Sorry again about that!)

This is clearly a family passion project and it shows, everyone in the staff was excellent, super sweet, helpful and available. The facilities were "spot on" for someone looking to find an amazing rural place to stay for relaxed vacation or for a well deserved rest after exploring the surrounding Gerês region. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the services offered were of high quality.

Everything. The photos don't do it justice. The staff are very friendly and actually go above and beyond to accommodate you. It's modern and spacious rooms. The view from the pool is incredible.

Nice, clean room with a view from our balcony. The swimming pool also looked nice, but it was rather cold for us to swim. Good breakfast. Free parking.

The accommodation was in a lovely spot overlooking the river with a good selection of restaurants and bars close by.
The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean and well appointed. It was great to have a BBQ on the large balcony.
The lady who met us was really friendly and had left a bottle of wine, fresh fruit and some beautiful flowers which were much appreciated.

Easy to find, lovely location, exceptional welcome from the hosts. The room and bathroom were very spacious with a lovely terrace. An eclectic mix of styles embracing the traditional and modern in the fabric and furnishings. The fresh squeezed orange juice at the breakfast was out of this world as was the homemade cake. Super breakfast with a selection of breads and baked goods , ham, cheese, fruit and yogurt etc.

Loved our overnight stay in an upgraded room with fantastic views of the church opposite and lake in the distance. Immaculately clean and tastefully furnished room with a nice balcony to take in the views. The restaurant offers good choices and we enjoyed lovely quality meals. The breakfast buffet was also very good. Parking was at the front of the hotel.

This is a beautiful 2-bedroom apartment with a very functional kitchen, excellent outdoor terrace with table and chairs, and very strong water pressure. Danielle is an excellent host and also extremely nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

So very special to stay here in this old stone 1 bedroom home which was tastefully modernized. Well equipped with a nice little kitchen and modern bathroom. Good heaters. A fireplace with the wood. Luisa provided a cake and everything we needed for breakfast and all over again for day 2. Gated parking compound. We ate dinner one day at the pizza place which was good. Loved the scenic winding drive to the Penede church. Amazing stay and beautiful area.
