What a beautiful property, absolutely spotless and really well cared for. The staff are all brilliant and couldn’t do enough to help; always going above and beyond with recommendations and assistance wherever needed! Couldn’t recommend Casa Lata enough!

The location is perfect - Close to Braga and not far from Guimarães. The hosts were absolutely wonderful 💕 Very clean and spacious. We had the one bedroom apartment. Kitchenette worked perfectly for our needs. AC was great at night (we like to sleep cool). Beds were pretty comfortable (for European beds) AND out of all the places we have stayed, we finally found a place with great pillows! The grounds were immaculate. The pool was fantastic!! We’d go out exploring in the morning and then our kids would swim all afternoon. They said this has been the best vacation 💕💕

We enjoyed a relaxing two-day staycation at a Isobel and Len’s charming bed-and-breakfast guesthouse where we were truly pampered from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, providing the perfect escape from the busyness of everyday life. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, from the comfortable accommodations to the warm hospitality that made us feel completely at home. We enjoyed delicious meals, time to rest and recharge, and the simple joy of slowing down and being cared for. It was a refreshing experience that left me feeling renewed, grateful, and deeply appreciative of the kindness and hospitality we received.

Though it's a small apartment, it has all the accoutrements required for a very pleasant stay. The host is wonderful, always quick to respond, and does a wonderful job to make his guests welcome. I found the bed and pillows comfortable. The kitchen has a full size fridge, and all the appliances one would need for even a long stay. The bathroom, while small, it was functional and the water heats up quickly. The AC is was working well and cooled the apartment down fast. It was lovely to sit on the terrace for a morning coffee (of which the host provided plenty). Braga has a lot to offer and I feel this is a great place to come back to at the end of a day of exploration.

My recent stay in Carvalhosa Apartment was delightful, with the accommodation living up to its online portrayal. The location was super, making it easy to explore the area. The space was clean and tidy, perfect for a brief stopover. Highly recommended for anyone passing through Vila Verde.
