Rooms in Geres

We are traveling from the US and wanted to see Geres. Hotel Central Jobim is right on the Main Street of town. There were many restaurants nearby. The hotel, itself, had a very nice breakfast each morning. The staff was really nice and very helpful. I would stay here again when I return.

Superb location, newly renovated, all mod-cons plus spa access, a good restaurant and an excellent breakfast! JUST GREAT! We came here after trying to access the nearby chalet, Teixeira Home, where the cobble-stone access was so slippery and steep that our car didn't make it there. Despite the fact, that booking and the owner did not wave the cancellation fee (!), we are feeling blessed that we found Aguas do Geres. Located right in the middle of a charming resort town, with other good restaurants around, and amazing nature at our doorstep. A pleasure even in the continuous rain we experienced. We will be back, I hope.

Everything! The food is amazing, the staff are awesome and so friendly and helpful, the room was so clean, everything smelled like new and fresh. I admire the hostel it was really really good! Definitely return here again!!!! Hopefully more than once.

Location!!! Hosts are incredibly pleasant and very accommodating! The pool is amazing and hotel is very close to the damn which has a separate entrance!

The guest house is amasing, very clean, 5 min to the Parc Peneda-Geres, the room big enough and you have a very beautiful view on the Mountains from your balkony. The staff is very accomodating, i had to leave at 6 am, so they opened the restaurant at this Time.

The location is excellent and well situated in the heart of the Gerés Region. São Bernardo de Claravel offers very clean rooms, each with it's own wc/shower and comfortable beds (appreciated after a long day's hike or walk). A shared kitchenette, on the lower level, is available to guests. It has a sitting/relaxing area, a microwave, a kettle, crockery, cutlery and a Delta Coffee machine (espressos, cappuccinos, etc at a fair price). Visitors can enjoy the beauty of the region by visiting the rural villages,the stunning waterfalls, forests, hike, picnic, mediate at São Bento da Porta Aberta, enjoy massages at the São Bento Hotel and finish the day with sundowners on the Orange Tree courtyard which overlooks the Caniçada Dam. A highly recommended holiday, especially for city dwellers who want to enjoy and be close to nature.

The hotel is a family run and it has an old fashion and homey feel. The owner and the stuff are very kind and accommodating! The facilities are clean and well maintained. It's also very peaceful and quiet. Highly highly recommend the restaurant! The meals are delicious and prepared with love and have a home cooked taste. Will be back for sure!

The hotel has a beautiful vintage decor and is well maintained. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was also attentive and polite. The buffet breakfast had a good amount of options and you could also order scrambled eggs, supposedly for an extra fee.

Together with my wife we had a great time at Jack's place. The rooms are very spacious, breakfast simple but very good. Parking spots available at the location. The staff is very friendly, especially Jack with his jokes and interesting stories from his life. Next time we are in Portugal we will most probably come back here and stay a litte longer than 2 nights. The Geres Park has a lot to offer.
