A lovely hotel with exceptional staff. They were very helpful and attentive to our needs. The meals that we reserved ahead of time were delicious and beautifully presented. The shuttle service was perfect for our needs from the Kiso-Fukushima station to the hotel. We were hiking the Nakasendo Trail, and it was great to stay here. We left our luggage at the station lockers , as we were heading to Kyoto after our hike.

We stopped here for a quick night on our way to Hakone and were greeted with lovely hospitality by the owners as soon as we arrived.
