The host was so nice and caring, did everything to make us feel comfortable and dedicated his time and effort to help us with anything. We loved using the private onsen (there were a few) every evening after a long day. The area is very nice and we took the free bikes for a ride around the lake, in front of mount fuji. The bus station is a- 15 min walk but we managed! Overall we had a really great stay, and we would come there again if we ever come back to Japan!

The Sauna in the room and of course the view. The dinner was amazing! Lastly the onsen was very relaxing and chill.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room itself was beyond what I imagined with a perfect view of Mt. Fuji. The bathtub was already filled and warm, perfect to relax in right away after traveling. The food served was so delicious and fresh. I would love to stay here again sometime!

We stayed for 2 nights from April 5, 2025. Luckily we got a big room with a great view of lake Yamanaka and Mt Fuji. It’s a Japanese style room. We stayed on the 2nd floor of the bldg adjacent to the main building where the shared bath (one for men and one for women) located. The shared bath has 5 showers and a rectangular tub for onsen (water temperature is very hot in the onsen). There are 3 toilets on the 2nd floor in our bldg shared among 4 rooms. The toilet rooms are very small. There are 2 sinks next to the toilet rooms. Everything was very clean and functional. There’s a big refrigerator and hot water dispenser with tea & coffee right outside our room. The owners are very nice and kind. They don’t speak English but used a phone with translation app so there’s no problem communicating. Highly recommended to order both breakfast and dinner here. Pay cash in advance when order with the owners. 1000 JPY for breakfast and 2000 JPY for dinner for one person. The food was plentiful, delicious and gorgeously displayed. There are steps away from Hirano beach where we took many beautiful photos of the sunrise on Mt Fuji. The hotel is 2 minutes walk to Hirano bus stop.

This place located at yamanakako is quiet and cozy where provides a traditional Japanese style room. there is only a public bathing area but the host will arrange a special timeslot for guests to enjoy bathing themselves, so you don’t need to be afraid of bathing/shower with others or worrying about the tattoo. Me and my boyfriend are the only guests on that day so we can use the entire space! the host is very friendly!! There are also free rent bicycles provided.
