The dinner was amazing - there was a station where the staff prepares a small dish on the spot for you. The onsen was eye-opening to say the least. It is located beside a stream / forest, and it was refreshing to soak in the onsen while listening to the stream flow by.

It’s a bit of an effort to get to this onsen, but it is well worth it. My husband and I stayed in a room with a private onsen. The room itself was very large and included a bedroom and several other spaces. I loved spending time relaxing and reading in the small sitting room. The private onsen was incredible to have, as you can use it 24 hours/day. The entire hotel space has tatami flooring, so you get to leave your shoes at the entrance and immediately feel the relaxation begin. We had dinner at the restaurant 3 out of our 4 nights and it was incredible. The food was not only delicious, but plated beautifully.

The room was large and well equipped. Staffs was very nice and very helpful. Nice location in the Yuze Valley.

This is old hotel but you can see they did upgrade some facilities. There are smart TV and ceiling in hotel room. Room is clean. They also provide free curry for dinner.

Breakfast was average. Because it is in individual rooms, the staff was short-handed in serving food. It will be better if guest could help themselves to the food.
