Very friendly owner/receptionist. I have been travelling through tasmania for 8 days and this was the only place i stayed at where the heater was turned on before arrival so that the room was nice and warm for me when i got there. this meant a lot. she even turned the outside lights on for me and showed me where to find my cabin as it was dark when i arrived. the bed was very comfortable and the cabin had everything you could ask for, even a balcony and heating lights in the bathroom. even had some free port available on arrival. all was clean and tidy and i was given great instructions on where to find everything. only 20min drive away from “The Wall” and not too far from Mt Field Nationalpark.

A lovely, well built and decorated cabin-style apartment. Loads of space and thoughtful touches from the hosts (including complementary port to drink!). Plenty of heating for our winter stay. All the kitchen bits one could need. A peaceful setting, though not much to do in terms of exploring directly from the door (all private land/no trails), but we used it as an overnight stop between hiking days in Mount Field and Lake St Clair, so was perfect for us!

Great cabin and the spa was a welcome treat after bushwalking! The wood heater was a lot better than in cabin 6 in our last stay. Spacious kitchen and lounge

We loved the fireplace, spa, fully equipped kitchen, coffee machine and dishwasher. The beds were very comfortable. Having a dishwasher was an added bonus as well as having an undercover carport to park our car.

This cabin had everything you could possibly need. It was well equipped to cope with any cold weather. The bed was extremely comfortable and equipped with warm bedding and an electric blanket. Kitchen had adequate equipment. Bonus was a drink of Port to welcome us to the cabins, which went down a treat. Parking is under an individual carport which is handy during inclement weather. This is good alternative accommodation to Derwent Bridge and is a handy stop to Queenstown and Strahan.
