During our stay, it happened to be my wife's birthday, and the hosts went above and beyond to help us arrange a surprise birthday party. Staff was very helpful & family room is huge with very comfortable big beds. Bathroom is also big with a bath tub inside. It was value for money.

The room was clean, spacious. Excellent quiet location, friendly owners, beautiful garden and rich breakfast. There was even a shower cabin in the bathroom so that we didn't get the whole room wet, which is a real rarity in Sri Lanka.

Tens across the board! Jaliya and his family are the best. Such a beautiful home, peaceful setting, and lovely people. Outside of their outrageous kindness and hospitality, the food was really top-notch, with some of the best tea and breakfast settings I’ve ever seen. There is so much wildlife around the property, and we were connected with a wonderful driver who helped show us around Sri Lanka (Jagath) during our stay, at very reasonable prices. Without a doubt, we would come back and stay with them again. We had a wonderful time.

Spacious place. Still new. A couple of kms away from the Kandy but in a silent environment. Host was pleasant and was helpful with all our requests. Highly recommended. Worth for the money.

Pri was an amazing owner! We had a dinner all 3 together, talked for few hours and he is really interesting person! Location is very nice, calm and private. There is a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and everything that might be needed. The shower has a good water pressure (mostly in Sri Lanka it does not) and hot water. The room is spacious, pilllows and bed is comfortable, there is a mini fridge as well.

What an amazing stay! I highly recommend coming here. The staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us. Rooms were clean and comfortable, food was incredible and I'll definitely be back!

The accomodation is amazing, great taste with decor and furnishings. High quality finishes. The location is stunning, if you don't mind a 10 min climb (in taxi) up the side of a mountain resulting in AMAZING views, sun rise and sun set. Ravi and a lovely lady (sorry can't remember her name) were great hosts. Ravi cooked us great breakfasts which were included in the price. We also had a delicious evening meal cooked for us. The place is immaculate and by far the best accommodation I have had in Sri Lanka. I would definitely reccomend, and wish I could have stayed longer than 2 nights.

Our stay at the villa was exceptional in every way. It’s modern, impeccably clean, and makes you feel right at home. Every corner of the villa was spotless, and the attention to detail was impressive — even the bathroom was sparkling clean. We especially appreciated the open kitchen, which allowed us to prepare our own meals, something you rarely find in other villas. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared each morning. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We initially planned to stay for two nights but extended our stay because we loved it so much. Truly a wonderful experience — highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality.

Rugby House! My second stay in five years—and this trip has convinced me it needs to be an annual one. We were in Kandy for relief work, and coming back each evening to such a spacious, home-like place was a real comfort. It feels like having an entire house at the price of a room. Great location near a large supermarket and bus routes, a huge fully equipped kitchen, easy self check-in, and flexible check-out. The antiques, generous living spaces, stunning long balcony with mountain views, and the optional use of the electric bike were all real bonuses. Finding the hot water switch and pressure water setup was a bit confusing at first (not in the most obvious place!), but the host explained everything quickly and clearly. Highly recommended—always a great choice in Kandy.
