Wow! This property looked stunning in the photos, but it is even better in person. So clean, and comfortable. All of us had beautiful rooms with en-suite bathrooms. The location is amazing. The property has stunning views of the ocean from every room. It’s sits elevated on a hill, so the ocean breezes are wonderful. You feel so secluded, yet there is a gate at the bottom of the property that is steps from restaurants, surfing, all the activities. And the staff, we cannot say enough about how wonderful and accommodating they are. They arranged activities for us (at good competitive prices), and you have a chef on the property with a team who cooks you a beautiful breakfast, and any other meals you want at such a reasonable price. We had so many tasty dinners here. The chef went out of his way to make us a whole fish dinner with prawns, etc. Amazing, delicious meals. Also, we Loved having a pool, we used it daily.

We loved staying here. This small hotel is well built and nicely furnished, very comfortable, extremely clean and well maintained, and a 5 minute walk to Hiri beach. The hotel manager and his staff are great to be with; friendly, kind, and helpful. Our breakfasts were generous, and our room was large with quality towels and bedding. The bonus was a kitchen (one on each floor) for us to make coffee early in the morning.

The beds were comfortable and nice to have your own little cabin. Location was great, quiet but close to city center.

This villa was perfect for us. We were a group of 8 and had the entire villa to ourselves. The villa is large, clean and comfortable and Dulash was available to help with any questions. The garden is surrounded by trees and it was a joy to sit on the balcony in the morning, watching the sunrise listening to the birds and watching the monkeys We loved the location ~ it is a short walk to a large quiet beach with a bar/restaurant, and to a popular surfing beach with Secret beach between the 2. There is a good simple restaurant {Aroma seafood} on the way to the beach with a small shop next door where you buy beer. Aga Surf restaurant does really good coffee.Tuk tuks nearby if you want to venture further afield. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we hope to come back .

This is a great location overlooking a beautiful beach, and the host family is very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here.

the lady who runs the place is so nice, she went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed ❤️ they also make the best breakfast and the rooms, bathroom and kitchen are all very clean and nice. i will definitely stay here again if i’m in Hirikiteya!

Friendly family and very modern and clean room/ studio. It is located between Hiriketiya beach and Blue Beach (more relaxed), both at walkable distance. For the check in, consider a tuk tuk to avoid the steep road, but without luggage is not an issue. Recommended if you are looking for a quiet and affordable stay!

Idyllic. It's just far enough away to be super quiet, yet close enough to everything to be easy. the hosts helped us rent a bike and it was just waiting there for us which was awesome. it's very stylish honestly. they had a ton of local recs for us which is nice and own a cute cafe and boutique down the road too. they were helpful and communicative throughout. would definitely stay again.

We really liked staying in Dickwella with Shakila and his family. We met a lot of good people in Sri Lanka, but they were just the best. They helped us with everything we needed. Thank you so much for your help and hospitality ❤️ Also we enjoyed the Hiriketiya area, we had been to different locations in Sri Lanka and there we felt the most comfortable. Even found a perfect swimming spot on Pehembiya beach.

Brand new property that is well built and laid out! It has multiple, very private rooms that are all on their own levels and a shared, fully stocked kitchen, quality sheets and towels plus parking for scooters. I stayed in the king room with balcony and AC which was massive, had a comfortable bed, a desk and overlooked the neighbourhood, that regularly had peacocks and monkeys running across the neighbour’s roofs. Lastly, Rachel was such an incredible host and made everything seamless. Highly recommend! To think I almost didn’t book because there were no reviews! That would have been a mistake!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Harbor Moon Hiriketiya during my travels in Sri Lanka. The property is incredibly spacious, offering a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere throughout my stay. It's location is perfect just a short distance from both Hiriketiya Beach and Blue Beach, making it ideal for anyone looking to enjoy some of the most beautiful areas nearby. The hotel itself is truly luxurious with a modern design that immediately makes you feel at ease. Everything is thoughtfully arranged and the attention to detail really stands out. All facilities are available and well maintained ensuring a convenient and enjoyable experience from start to finish. The home made breakfast was simply superb. fresh, delicious and the perfect way to start the day. Overall, this is easily one of the best places I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka. Blue beach is lovely and this property is close to it which is why I like

Absolute beautiful property! About a 15 minute walk from the main part of Hiriketiya so it’s removed from the noise. The apartment was big, clean and spacious. It also included a private kitchen area which is helpful. We look forward to returning and staying longer!

A peaceful little bungalow with lots of space. We had two kids who enjoyed running around in the large garden and seeing a few monkeys and peahens and being close to nature. The kitchen was well equipped. We bought our own spices and rations so we were able to cook a few of our own meals. The bathrooms are spacious and well maintained. The rooms are a great size too. The living room is great to hang out and has a variety of books and games to choose from. Communication with the owner was seamless. The caretaker was efficient and very courteous.
