Dinner was tasty! We had caviche and coconut chicken, the French fries were delicious, and staff was great!

This was our family’s first visit to La Princesa resort. We have visited Rocky Point a handful of times. Our host Kim and Dan were very communicative from the beginning of our booking. Checking in at the gate didn’t take long at all and the gate staff was very friendly and well versed in English. Once we made our way to our room there was plenty of parking and the room was easily accessible from the parking lot. Our room was recently renovated and we loved all the details of the room, especially the large flooring tiles. We were provided with plenty of towels and blankets for all of us. Definitely a great spacious room for a family vacation. The patio space is great and provided a great spot to take a siesta. There were plenty of vendors at this beach location, water skis, banana boat, mix drinks, fruits, etc.

Very clean suite with beautiful view of resort and sea. The resort was well maintained and clean. Staff were friendly and seen working hard to maintain the resort at the high standard. Lots of seating areas. Not too busy at the time and no loud music playing.

Let’s begin with my reason for booking: high reviews and remarks that communication was great—both proved to be true. I was able to book a last minute spur of the moment trip and instant booking made this possible—Scott immediately sent me everything we needed. Additionally I liked that the owner confirmed on the listing what the bed sizes are. Having a two year-old that co-sleeps with us made me nervous since Booking.com only reports bed sizes as double or XL double, but this unit does have king size beds which was great! Communication: Scott it’s truly exceptional and a pro. You can tell he knows what he’s doing. Everything is extremely well organized, between the text confirmations, links to additional information, binder in the room full of great recommendations, door lock combo that is so intuitive that it makes you wonder why all rental owners don’t use the same process; and he even calls you on the house phone when you check in to make sure we had everything we needed. Truly exceptional service. The space: what a gem! The posting states the unit was recently remodeled and it certainly looks like it. Everything seemed brand new. Beachfront properties tend to take a beating from the salt air and we have stayed in many luxury apartments that were in need of updating. This looks like it was remodeled everywhere. The views are amazing, the decorations/art throughout the unit are so cute, it just gives a great cozy beach vibe. All the cooking utensils were clean and looked new. Additionally, we have stayed in many units before where everything was in Spanish and offbrands with controls that were not intuitive, which made cooking difficult. Here, everything is common big brand items such as whirlpool, KitchenAid, Samsung. You’ll feel right at home. Towels and bedding were soft. Owner even stocked bottled water and shampoo/body wash, paper towels. Fridge and freezer were cold and worked well.

The location of the hotel is perfect. 3 blocks from the Malecon. Gloria who makes breakfast for the guests in the morning is wonderful, and she will make you a great omelette breakfast which is the best! The hotel is quiet and very clean and has a nice vibe. We will definitely be staying again in the future.
