Self-Catering Accommodations in Taupo

I stayed at multiple cabins during a roadtrip through New Zealand. The cabin from this resort was the best equipped: TV, fridge, microwave, etc. The beds were super comfortable and the cabin spotless clean. The shared kitchen, bathrooms and laundry were clean as well and well equipped. At the same time the price was competitive. The spa (open air swimming pool with hot(!) water) is just few hundred meters walk away. If I would visit Taupo again, I would stay again at this resort.

From our motel room we could see the lake and the mountains. The room was spacious, the bed was comfy, and the setup for the hot bath, toilet and bathroom, and kitchenette was bang on. We were able to have a hot natural water bath. There was a hot swimming pool available. With the set-up of the motel, all guests' cars were parked in the middle of the compound, so it felt very safe.

Clean. Close to water. 10 min walk to town. Fridge and micro in room and laundry available. Very friendly staff.

This was an exceptional stay! Very friendly host and amazing view. The rooms were very modern and well kept. It had that home away from home feel. Very central to town as well. Would stay again!

Great location, a short drive to the central part of town. Our room had a lake view, which you can enjoy from a covered and heated balcony, which gives it a plus if you go in winter. The room itself was really comfortable and every detail was well thought out. The spa pool was divine and the place was an oasis to relax. I'll definitely stay there again.

Great location right on the lake. Lovely to walk on the lake path in the mornings.
