Everything. This is what booking should be about - good and friendly hosts that will do their best to grant you a good experience. It's been a while since I have been to an accomodation with treats especially with local treats like the delicious cheese and some jams that they gave us for our first arrival. Location was great. Their shop downstairs is also amazing if you want local products. ACs in all rooms, fully working kitchen and organised house and renovated. Loved it, will for sure recommend and come back if I go to Manteigas again. Thanks both Ilídio e Lucia for this amazing stay. Very clean and in a very good location.

Everything, including the property, the stairway. and even the ambience is very beautiful.

The location was right in the middle of the lovely town, easy walk everywhere. Even on the streets we could see the stars at night and it was very quiet by our standards. The apartment itself was clean and cozy and all the facilities worked. It was nice to walk to a cafe and grocery store. Manteigas was in a good location for us to venture out into Sierra de Estrella.

It's a wonderful place, in an excellent location. Actually right on the official hiking trail we came in on! The host is hard-working and kind, her property is exquisite, her dogs are super sweet, and her friend João was a pleasure to meet. The house is very well-stocked with beverages, plus a little choricao and cheese. You MUST try the host's homemade geropigo and aguardente. They're DELICIOUS. Don't try to finish the aguardente without a group -- it's very strong. I had to take the leftover home with me :) The bed I stayed in was extremely comfortable and warm. We had a great time overall!

Beautiful historic home right in the center of town with wonderful little surprises all throughout the home and a thoughtful host! It was like a living museum.

The house is lovely, and everything is super cozy and comfortable. The owners are helpful and made us feel at home. If you visit Manteigas, don’t miss the chance to stay in this amazing place!
