We loved the location and the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was really nice and we felt welcome. I am gluten intolerant and they provided me with warm gluten free bread each morning! I really appreciated it. The staff provided us with valuable information regarding paths around the lake. Hope we will come back!

Sasa was incredibly helpful and nice. The apartment was spotless and the views out the back were stunning. This quiet location was walking distance to the lake with a couple of small shops closer by. The space was also bigger than I expected.

The host was just amazing, very kind and caring. The location was very nice and quiet, with just a 5 minute walk to the lake beach. We really liked the idea of the shared corner with tea, coffee, oil, seasonings, etc. Being the house, there was a very nice back garden with a terrace where we were eating while looking at the mountains.

I really appreciated arriving to a holiday kitchen which supplied oil, vinegar, coffee, tea, sugar, garlic powder and salt pepper, foil, and plastic wrap—the convenience factor is HUGE!!! The apartment was huge and the bed was comfortable. The balcony was a nice place to relax at the end of the day. There was sufficient equipment to prepare meals if you'd prefer. Francka was such a friendly and welcoming host as was her friend who was helping her during our stay. The internet speed was good. There are a few good restaurants and ice cream shops within walking distance and Lake Bohinj is a quick drive or bike ride away.

Everything! I absolutely LOVED our staying in Alpine Homestead. Rooms are so cute and cozy, dinner and breakfast were deliciously amazing and well prepared and Jasmina and her team were wonderful and very accommodating. Jasmina was also very interested in our itinerary while in Slovenia, asking about the places we were going to and recommending cities to visit. It doesn’t feel like your average standard hotel. It is a special and unique experience. I recommend this place to EVERYONE.
