Spa hotels in Val Thorens

Hotel was lovely and clean with staff which were very happy to help. Great ski in ski out location for returning home from all directions after apre ski. The hotel had many facilities which made our stay so enjoyable our favourite was the games room which we could play pool or table tennis in the evenings after chilling in the spa. There was a ski rental shop at the hotel which included a discount for staying in the hotel this was so handy, we also bought our ski pass in the hotel. Breakfast was lovely with a wide range of different foods to choose from and on the morning of checkout we were greeted with breakfast takeaway at 4am to take with us on our transfer, great service. Will definitely be back.. best place I have stayed in to date in this resort and at a great price for all included.

The apartment was comfortable, clean and well equipped for a week long stay. The spa was perfect and we used it almost on daily basis. the staff was helpful and courteous. Proximity to a supermarket and 2-3 great restaurants made it very convenient for a night out. The location was great and the ski-out was very good. Overall great value and bang for buck.

The location is amazing, it’s comfortable, warm, and has everything you need for a ski getaway with friends. They offer Free breakfast, free spa access, ski in ski out accessibility and ski lockers which are all major key items during a ski trip. They also are very strict about noise so we were able to get a good nights rest before a big day of skiing. Bouchra was especially helpful with handling noisey neighbors and was there for us late night whenever we needed something !! This hotel is not the nicest in the lot but it gets the job done and it is perfect for us. This was our second year and we’ll come for many more !

Everything! The staff was exceptional. Sebastian, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The Spa is very well maintained and only takes 5 people per booking, never feeling overcrowded. The breakfast is great The rooms are very cozy

The team at Résidence Le Portillo were friendly, helpful, well organised and always happy to help. As well as a restaurant, the residence has two nice bars. The bar overlooking the slopes has a large deck and a big screen for sporting events and good music. A ski out residence, Le Portillo is centrally located with easy access to ski shops, lift pass outlet, restaurants, bars, supermarkets & everything you might want or need on a ski holiday.

Everything beautiful location with an amazing view really cosy downstairs area for food and drinks especially In the evening with the fire lit will 100% be back next year

We really enjoyed our stay, especially thanks to the amazing staff. Everyone was so welcoming, always smiling, and happy to help. The warm atmosphere they created during breakfast and in the evenings made a big difference.

Can’t find anything that wasn’t perfect, except perhaps the fact sometimes the noise level in the restaurant and spa was a bit too high for our taste, due to a large group being noisy. Not anything the staff could do about it.

Great location. Ski hire available at the Hotel. Ski in ski out once you figure out which track to take. Good selection at meals.

LOcation was superb, easy ski in/out. The decor was not so much. If you compare to other similar partments in Austria/Dolomites etc. it was really disappointing.

Excellent position. Highest point in Les menuires. Easy to ski down to sunny and miss any queues (not that there were any really at Easter at all). Family room with two bedrooms (feels more like a small apartment) has great views and a lovely little snug bedroom with bunk beds for kids. Swimming pool is fantastic. Food is excellent. Lovely meals (if you fancy something different/cheap then pizza Lili is a good option). We didn't go half board but it would be a good option. Breakfast is delicious. Staff are all really nice and helpful. Ski hire is next door/connected to hotel Prosneige ski school was great (and Jacks cafe next to it is good/good value/good coffee)
