Spa hotels in Ribeira Grande

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The view is amazing, and the indoor pool is pleasantly warm—very comfortable for families with kids. The breakfast is excellent, and the mattress is just right—not too soft and not too firm. A parking spot is also available, which is very convenient. Overall, everything was perfect, especially the stunning view and beautiful sunsets.

After looking at what seemed like a zillion homes on the island and cross referencing them with recent reviews, we chose this spot. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The pictures posted on the listing are accurate and arguably don’t do the home justice. The host has literally thought of anything and everything one might need and it’s provided (albeit not necessarily mentioned/listed). We requested a crib for baby and they had it set up and ready to go. IF you’re traveling with a baby who likes a dark room, I recc getting some travel blackout curtains from Amazon beforehand. Between that and the new travel Hatch, baby slept like a dream. I ended up buying a whole bunch of unnecessary things, as I’m used to domestic rentals that provide nothing and have pages of rules. Once I did some exploring, I found all the items I bought, already stocked in cabinets/drawers etc. The host was beyond accommodating and was very understanding when baby broke something she got her hands on. Hubby ended up cutting himself pretty bad, and the house had a stocked first aid kit that was a lifesaver late at night when a pharmacy wasn’t open. The location was perfectly central for exploring the island (we rented a car on our own, but the host does have reccs for rentals if needed). There’s a charcoal grill on ground level and a wood grill upstairs, with plenty of wood provided. It was too cold to enjoy the pool but the hot tub was delightful. The host was also readily available via either the booking.com app or WhatsApp. 500/10 I would rent this home again.

Very responsive and helpful host who reacted to every question or request ASAP. The accommodation is in a beautiful location near the beach in a quiet small town.

Beautiful location with sea vistas from every angle. The staff was exceptionally attentive, and went out of their way - continuously - to make sure our every want and need was met. Exceptional stay in a very exceptional place.

Everything was wonderful- and I don't normally say that. Overall, yes, are you in town by the development, sure, but the awesome breakfast, cleanliness of the rooms, comfort of the beds, and easy parking make up for it. (I just parked for free outside the entrance door- unsure if this is just off season luxury or not). The rooms have balconies and I really liked the smooth lava rock they used for it. Also the twin room mattresses were so comfortable. I also really loved the wood closet thing in the room. All the design details and cleanliness was so appreciated, and I wish all hotels were like that. I would gladly be back, wish this exact hotel was available around the usa and world actually. If I'm ever to the Azores again, I plan to use this hotel on any and all flight nights or for any other reasons just to regroup and relax. I wish I had tried their dinner, but I ate in the bar, and the breakfast and both of those were great. The staff was also really nice, and they were so particularly nice. And they spoke English (sorry for my lack of Portuguese). I really have to say I deeply appreciated the management, cleanliness, and design of this hotel, you could just tell from the front desk manager, to the trainee, to the room service/housekeeping, to the breakfast and bar staff. And I will hopefully be back!

The apartments are beautiful—comfortable, clean, and fully equipped. There's even a dishwasher in the kitchen, and you can do your laundry at no extra cost! Each apartment also comes with a drying rack. Our whole family enjoyed all the facilities: the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, turkish baths, and barbecue area! There’s also a large shopping center just 2 minutes away from the apartments! It was a wonderful stay, and I would 100% recommend it. Jorge, the person who welcomed us, was very kind and attentive.
