United StatesI loved how spacious our room was. The hotel was so nice and clean. It definitely was in a good location. Quiet around the area but one/two streets over was all the shopping/food places. Loved the in house spa and facial options. We didn’t get a facial because they were booked out but massage was nice!

GreeceLocation was prime but also peaceful and relaxing while being close to beautiful sights, shopping and easy to navigate. The room was beautiful, super spacious, clean and incredibly comfortable. The beds were great and we had a private in room onsen that was truly the highlight. Pajamas and yukata were provided in the room as well.

This was the last place I could find, given the spring season in Kyoto. And it's awesome! The price/quality ratio is excellent. Ideal location. Excellent buffet breakfast. The sauna was wonderful.
The important point is that this is an exclusively men's hotel, and this creates its own atmosphere, the opportunity to find new friends and have a great time.
And an important point - think of it as a spa, not a hotel. Then pajamas won’t seem like a strange accessory.

The hotel was so luxurious, the staff were friendly and attentive, the facilities were top notch. We enjoyed our stay so much. We had a spa and massage booked in after a long day of travel and it was absolutely so relaxing and the staff were very attentive. The neighborhood was also quiet and safe with a convenience store across the road for necessities. The laundry machines were free to use if you are staying and it was very helpful to us as we were traveling for a month.

- Perfect location across the river from Gion, 10 minutes bus / taxi / subway from the Kyoto station and walking distance from most sites in Kyoto.
- The hotel is very “zen” and peaceful / relaxing. The decoration is equally relaxing.
- The staff is super friendly and useful.
- We only tried one of the 5 restaurants - Premium Robata Sanda, which had just opened a few days before - and it was very nice also.
- We had a Spa massage treatment which was fair to value as well.

Such a delightful traditional hotel with an elegant ambience, beautiful decor, lovely relaxation spaces and a superb onsen.
Always welcoming and helpful staff greeted us and organised medical appointments and recommended massages for us which were ideal for our needs.
The breakfast buffet was so extensive that we often did not have room for lunch!
The triple room was very spacious for three adults and included a green tea service 🍵
We would definitely consider staying at this hotel again next time we visit Kyoto 👍🏼

New, clean and very stylish property. The rooms are spacious and in a modern design. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The gym and wellness area are top quality too. The breakfast buffer is superb.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff checking in were wonderful and helped us ship our bags and answered all the questions we had. The breakfast was plenty and delicious. The onsen was amazing and beautiful. We also tried the brick baths and those were very relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay here.
