If you like walking and nature and eating genuine food this is the place to stay. It was such a change from the big cities. Plantations of green tea wherever you look. The B & B is opposite the tea museum which is itself nestled among LongJing tea plantations. West Lake is about a 15 minute walk away and you can catch a boat that will give you a tour of the whole lake. There is a bus stop very near the B&B and it will take you to see the Lingyin temple in 20 minutes. Unfortunately it rained quite a bit while we were there, but Fay Fay had us equipped with plastic shoe coverings and a long plastic raincoat in a jiffy so we were able to go out and do things. The staff was friendly and so very helpful. The tea tasting experience was interesting and informative. The breakfasts were Chinese, not what we were used to, but tasty and healthy. We had two dinners there and they were both delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

The owner upgraded me to a spacious double room (Wuluo), and the setup was fantastic. I spent four relaxing nights enjoying some peaceful “me time” in the cosy, quiet space.Temples and attractions are within walking distance, and buses to the attractions are also easily accessible nearby.

The property is located near botanical garden and at the end of the main restaurants/hotels area. During the night it was quiet. The garden is lovely specially in spring while fruits are ripen and trees are freshly green. I spent much time there listening to fish and the nine year old turtle. My room is small as I was solo. I have also used the Japanese room for my yoga. They serve nice quality tea and it’s part of the experience to be in the tea capital of south China. I plan to stay there again in my future visit.

The bathrooms were excellent - it was winter and the hotel had installed a hot air blow in the shower cubicle. It was so clean and very nicely arranged. Even the room slippers were of good quality. Towels were thick. The reception staff (Rong Rong and Lulu) were so helpful and kind. They paid attention to our needs and could recommend places to eat and best sites in Hangzhou to visit. My mother in law had a fall and they went with us to the clinic to see that she was attended to well.
