Since I was traveling via train and had the usual missed connections, I needed to communicate with the hotel and they were completely accomodating. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the train. Since it is next to the canal, the morning sunrise was spectacular. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The bright red decorating is upbeat and makes for a very friendly feeling.

This family-run, 3-star hotel located in the Lotsenviertel area of Cuxhaven, next to the ferry port. It features free parking, a terrace, and the harbor is just 328 feet away.

The location was perfect. The room was well designed and there was plenty of room. The washroom was very good. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
