IrelandThe Stables is a lovely B&B - the building has lots of character. Breakfast was very nice - all cooked freshly to order and a great choice. We also had lunch there - the restaurant is lovely and there is a nice courtyard out the back. The room was clean and comfortable. Birr Castle is on your doorstep so we took the opportunity to go in there for the morning.

IrelandHad a really lovely time staying in this little gem. It was a home from home. Only a short drive from several counties including Galway, Clare, Offaly and Tipperary. Service on the phone isn't great and no wifi as stated but that didn't bother us. Just get out and enjoy yourself, plenty of places to go and things to do. We went everywhere. Lena is such a lovely host and very informative of things to do around the area and also some local history. Really lovely lady.
Thanks for everything Lena especially the lovely eggs you gave us. Hope you enjoyed the onions. Take care

Stunning Georgian townhouse, beautifully decorated downstairs, great location short stroll to town centre, peaceful and welcoming. We were able to bring our elderly whippet too, all staff really nice, would recommend. Wonderful breakfast selection served in tastefully decorated front room, also we were able to sit in the private rear garden when the courtyard cafe was closed and enjoy the tranquil water fountain & sunset 😎👍🏻owner Caroline is so friendly & accommodating, this place is a little gem

A beautiful period property in a quiet location. Our room was comfortable and luxuriously appointed. Gorgeous courtyard. Freshly cooked breakfast was fabulous too. Our four legged child was made very welcome!
