This accommodation is about 5 minutes by scooter from the beach and 7 minutes from Uluwatu center—an absolutely perfect location. There are four villas, and we were welcomed like family. Even transporting our luggage from another place was no problem—they came by car to pick it up. Communication before and during our stay was outstanding; nothing was impossible. Plus, Paris can arrange a massage right on-site. I enjoyed the pool and the accommodation, which was clean and new. I’d love to return in the future.

If your are looking for a perfect hotel in the Uluwatu area, come to Mayiki! Biggest pros were: Absolutely amazing staff. They were extremely helpful during our check-out day. Communication was super easy through WhatsApp, plus they give you a bunch of tips for restaurants, cafes, activities etc. close to the hotel. The rooms looked super stylish and the location was perfect - close to all the great beaches and to Uluwatu main area, but still away from the over-hyped locations.

I really enjoyed Uluwatu!

I really enjoyed Uluwatu! It has a laid-back beach and surf vibe, with beautiful scenery and plenty to explore, including the temples. I also found it a bit cleaner than places like Ubud. It is slightly pricier than other areas in Bali, but still reasonable and worth visiting. The only thing I’d warn people about is the monkeys around the temples, they seemed a lot more aggressive than the ones in Ubud, so definitely be careful with your belongings!

Very busy and commercialised central areas but better as you leave the centre Narrow crowded roads with a lot of traffic on scooters, bikes as well as cars Nice beach and the young adults enjoyed surfing at Dreamlands as well as Padang Padang. The latter was quite busy and crowded. Some great beach clubs

Uluwatu has changed a lot in the past few years.

Uluwatu has changed a lot in the past few years. There is an enormous amount of construction with very narrow roads. The way of transport is bike, if you want to travel in a reasonable time frame. The age demographics is more on the younger side.

Very busy, very full of tourists. Shops are crazy expensive, more than the same items in Australia. They will negotiate but its honestly hard work and they still won't go down to reasonable prices. Food options are good, but also expensive relative to other parts of Bali. Bit of a party place for young people really, not so suitable for families or older travellers. Watch out for tourists on motorbikes - the local travel at a sedate pace but some of the tourists seem to think its a race track.

Uluwatu has great beaches across the south and west side,...

Uluwatu has great beaches across the south and west side, good for surfing, though rocky in some places too. You do need a car or book your rides in the area as you can't walk the streets to get from one place to the other. Even though some areas are a bit touristy, it's still okay, not as bad as Kuta or Seminyak.

Uluwatu is a tourist area located in southern Bali.

Uluwatu is a tourist area located in southern Bali. In my opinion, Uluwatu Temple offers one of the most breathtaking views worth seeing. Getting there is very easy using the Grab app. For dining, Artisan is a reasonably priced and lovely restaurant; Zali is unnecessarily expensive, the portions are small, and the food is just okay. You can try some amazing cookies at Dang! Cookies.

Amazing villa to stay at, absolutely peaceful atmosphere to relax and unwind. We stayed at the Superior villa which is was lovely and spacious. The staff were so lovely and friendly always available to help, they cleaned everyday which was so nice. Was a great way to start our trip in Bali, not too far from centre easily accessible via grab. I would 100% recommend to stay at this villa if you’re visiting Uluwatu

The hotel was good, we loved the lush garden/jungle vibe, cute Balinese style decor, adorable puppy Luna & the really friendly kind staff - bobby was particularly friendly & helpful during our stay. Very cute and homie Resort villa, fantastic facilities: private beach, gym, fine dining Resto, SPA And the cable car getting you down to the beach is literally something out of the box! The staff did their duties accordingly to the 5 star hotel standards, and the host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. For sure one of my best stays in Bali!
