Lauren was a great host - enough information prior to us arriving and available for any questions we had during our stay. Place was spotless and we had the best time. Great location being a couple of mins from the beach. Loved it so much we've booked up to return.

We loved this house! Absolutely spotless ( probably the cleanest holiday home we have ever been in) with great attention to detail - it had everything we needed for a really pleasant two night stay. The road was peaceful and it has a nice secluded garden as well which was a nice surprise. It was comfortable and everything felt new and fresh. We were greeted with a welcome pack on arrival which was nice. It was handy having a driveway and an extra toilet downstairs .We stayed here because we were attending a wedding at the nearby Quex Park - we were able to walk home at midnight which was ideal. Rossetti Retreat represents good value for money compared to other accommodation in the area and is obviously well loved by the owners. Highly recommended.

We found the property to very well located - a 15 minute walk to the nearest beach and a short drive along the coast to lots of popular destinations including Margate, Broadstairs and Whitstable. The cottage itself is really lovely - full of charm and original features, whilst also very comfortable and with all mod cons. Worth noting, and the host did make this clear, that the ceilings are low (as expected from an old cottage) and it's easy to bump your head on doorways or coming downstairs if you don't pay attention! Particular highlights included the comfortable bed and the original features. It's not 100% clear from the description but I really liked that, on the face of it, the living room is without a TV - it's a lovely cosy old-fashioned room perfect for a book or game. However, there really is the best of both worlds as the basement is the home of a small TV room, with bean bags and large screen TV.

Beds were comfortable. Staff are always welcoming and helpful. Have stayed in a few properties here and would recommend them to anyone whether it’s just an overnight stay or a longer stay.
