The trullo was like living in a fairy tale. The owners provided for every detail and need. There was an abundance of food choices for breakfast. For both an Italian breakfast or American. Outside the garden was meticulously well kept and beautiful. I especially liked the basil and lavender bushes and the olive trees. The trullo is situated within an olive grove. The bathroom had a lot of space to keep toiletries and bath comfortably. Nicola and Margherita were very kind and hospitable reminding we of old world hospitality rarely experienced now. It felt like they were really invested in our comfort and safety. It was nice not to worry about parking every night as there was ample guest parking. We did many day trips and Locorotondo was a perfect location to base ourselves in as it was central and convenient to many of Puglia’s most notable destinations.

We were absolutely blown away by our stay at trulli di Nonno Battista in Locorotondo. The entire place feels brand new—immaculately clean, beautifully designed, and even better than the photos. The host was fantastic: friendly, responsive, and incredibly professional. The location is perfect, just a 7-minute walk to the old town, and having private parking for the car made everything very easy. The trulli were built only a few years ago, but their condition is impeccable—you won’t find a single scratch on the walls or any signs of wear. Everything is thoughtfully organized and extremely well maintained. One of the best places we’ve stayed in Italy.

It is a super comfortable place in a little side street close to old town. Right on the biking route to Ciclovia Delle Aquaductto. I rented a bike from Pugliaonbike.it and had two splendid days riding. Alberobello is the big draw for tourism, but Locorotondo is a smaller and more beautiful place with the amazing Italian countryside it has right outside of town. It has a kitchen, that is easy to cook in, meaning oil, spices and nice cookware are available. Super great stay.
