The owner was very accommodating despite a problem encountered with booking.com. The property is stunning and serene, and offers more amenities than most similar properties such as a well equipped fitness center and mountain bikes. Spotless. Many animals around. I will definitely return.

Our stay at Villa La Vida was disappointing overall. The only things we truly liked were the swimming pool and the garden in the yard, which are well maintained. Overall, this place might be more suitable for travelers with their own transport and potentially more comfortable once the nearby renovation work is completed.

Our stay at Ishq Talpe was simply amazing. The villa is even more beautiful than in the photos, with stunning sea views and an elegant, spotless interior. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help, which made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious and the perfect start to each day. Everything exceeded our expectations, a true paradise by the ocean. Highly recommended.

Our stay was lovely, no negatives, the host was engaging and delightful, and the staff were respectful but very attentive when required. It has a relaxing and quiet vibe about it, perfectly proportioned, plenty of privacy, and the swimming pool is simply stunning. There is an outdoor, but covered, lounge and eating area which can be used at any time to relax in. The meals were exceptional! The staff will advise and organise local trips, drivers, and have a handy tuk tuk chap on standby. We will definitely be returning and would recommend it to those wishing for a chilled and relaxing stay.

Amazing property , pool was good temp . Bathrooms were well ventilated . It’s just a beautiful property. Some games that can be played if you wish to stay in the property and pass time . Lovely staff . Language was a bit of a challenge but they did everything with a smile . Food was amazing ! May be a concern for some - it’s not walkable to anything specific - need to take a taxi . But for us it was fine 15 min to unawatuna and 25/30 to Galle . Download pick me app for booking a transportation .

The staff, their hospitality and clean bungalow. Everything was very good.

We were welcomed with fresh orange juice. I was surprised by the place. A very peaceful place to stay. We arrived in the evening. We wanted to stay for a few days. But we didn't have time. The hostess was very helpful. She told us about all the places in the Unawatuna area. We were especially grateful for the comfortable bed. The breakfast was even better than we expected.

A beautiful villa with elegant, tasteful design, set right in the heart of nature. The pool and relaxation areas were a true pleasure to enjoy. Our host, Upul, was incredibly friendly and a joy to be around.

Staff were fantastic! The location was everything we wanted: a beautiful pool and beach a few steps away! Our room was really spacious, clean and comfortable and had a great view of the pool and beach - as do all the rooms. The food was incredible. So wonderful in fact, that we dined at the hotel every evening, as well as enjoying the fantastic breakfast options each morning.

New architectural marvel in a serene and private setting at the edge of a tropical jungle with the infinity pool overlooking an expansive natural paddy. The experience at Villa Samas was life changing for us not only due to the setting but mostly thanks to the sincerely gracious and kind hospitality of our exceptional host who lives on the ground level. The best of Sri Lankan family culture is generously offered here combined with an impeccable attention to detail and service. Sparkling clean inside and out. Location was close and convenient yet felt far away. Fully equipped kitchen allowing for home cooked meals or there are plenty of takeaway/delivery food options nearby. The delicious and generous breakfast is prepared downstairs and then lovingly served in your private kitchen with stunning jungle views-do not miss this experience! Also many excellent western style gourmet restaurants only 20 minutes drive to Galle Fort. AC works perfectly in both bedrooms each with its own terrace and nice views. Abundant tropical wildlife on display daily including wild peacocks, monkeys, parrots and birds of every description.

Our favorite host ever! Very good friend! Clean house with all new. Fresh green garden around and many birds and squirrels. 5 minutes to the little cozy beach.
