Villas in Funchal

The apartment is new and as shown in the pictures. It is relatively close to the city centre, 20 minutes walking. There is a bus stop close by as well if you don't like walking. The building also has private parking in case you are coming with the car. There is a shared area for laundry and ironing, which is a perfect solution if you do not want to bring many clothes. Since the building has a relatively small number of apartments, it feels pretty private.

Great location! Ability to walk or rent a car if you want to explore the rest of the island. Susana was also extremely flexible! Our flights got delayed and we arrived a day later then expected and she accommodated us and switched our dates for the stay. Very nice place and would stay here again!

Clean spacious ,everything you need . Mr Nuno is a very welcoming polite host. The swimming pool is fantastic as well as the garden and the cat ! Quiet area with shopping facilities at hand so very practical and comfortable . A much self catering accommodation that would be hard to beat.And we will definitely go back

The location of this house is exceptional. It is in a pedestrian street with cafes, restaurants, and even a grocery store right below. It is within a 5 minute walk to supermarkets and all the other attractions of the city. This house has air conditioning for every bedroom and the living room. Basically, every bedroom is a master suite. The bedroom on the top floor may not be a real suite, but with the bathroom right next door with no other bedroom on that level, it might as well be a suite as well. The kitchen is clean and well stocked. For most travelers, it should have everything needed. In addition, there is a second kitchen on the top floor where the washer and dryer are. I highly recommend this house. It is a great homebase for people visiting this incredible city.

I had an amazing experience at the Downtown Villa. Miguel and Victor were incredibly helpful from start to finish, giving clear instructions that made everything easy, even helping with precise directions for parking nearby. The villa is fully equipped with everything you could need — spacious bedrooms, a beautiful bathroom, and a fantastic kitchen. I loved starting the day with breakfast on the balcony, overlooking the peaceful garden. It felt like a home away from home.

Location was excellent. Lots of restaurants nearby. Grocery nearby as well.

The apartment is really well-maintained. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, from a washing machine to an iron. Upon check-in, we received a lovely welcome pack with local wine, sweets, and small authentic treats — a very pleasant bonus after the journey! 🍷🍫 The apartment is very spacious, and each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is super convenient for families or groups. You can also try top authentic Madeiran products right on site. Overall, though, the apartment left a very positive impression. Clean, spacious, comfortable, and with nice local touches.

We absolutely loved our stay at #30. The apartment has a very modern, efficient design which fit our needs perfectly. It was just the two of us, but the place could easily have fit a family of four or two couples. The small courtyard in the middle of the unit lets in tons of light and air. Hugo is a wonderful host - going the extra mile to help get us settled and acclimated to the neighborhood. We loved that we were close to everything yet also living in a quiet residential area. The unit was so perfect that we extended our stay in Funchal and booked #32 for later in our trip. Thanks Hugo!

Very nice brand new property! Very comfy beds, super modern interior, 3 bathrooms, good kitchen, stunning view. Loved it!

This house is a real find and I would greatly recommend it to someone who is traveling to Madeira, especially a family or group. The house is on a hillside outside of Funchal with sweeping views of the city and the ocean. The house has a very nice kitchen and a washing machine. You'll need to hang your clothes to dry them, but they dry quickly in the sun room. The house is very quiet. If you need help using the stove, take a picture of it and ask Claude how to use it.

The place was beautiful, and well appointed with everything we could need for our visit.

The hostess was right there at the time I requested checking in to hand over keys. There is parking space in front of apartment, although the street is narrow and steep. At least you always have free parking.
