The house is very cosy and spacious. It was clean. The beds are comfy. TV with streaming services. Full equipped kitchen. Emma was very nice and helpful in the communication. Easy process of self check in and out. Free parking right in front of the main door. The house is just a 15-minute walk to the very center, in a quiet neighborhood, which feels safe even at night.

The Old Map Shop is located in Wigton, just 17 miles from Derwentwater and 20 miles from Askham Hall. Both free Wifi and parking on-site are accessible at the vacation home free of charge.

Small apartment, but with absolutely everything needed for two people to stay comfortably, in a beautiful location in the very center, next to the cathedral courtyard and within walking distance of the train station, which was a big advantage for us
