One of my best hotel stays ever! The hotel staff is extremely friendly, helpful and trying to accommodate English communication. The rooms are amazing and exactly as shown on the images; beautiful design, clean and offering the necessary amenities. The views are breathtaking!

Beautiful and comfortable cottages! You can preorder nice Japanese bentos for breakfast and lunch which is great for hiking. The family who run the place were very nice and helpful. They warned me of my ferry cancellation due to bad weather and refunded my first night at the last minute. Couldn't recommend this place enough!

10/10 stay with Bird Logg Amami. From the moment we arrived at our accommodation we felt comfortable. The cabin is clean, spacious and has a very nice atmosphere. The cooking and bathroom facilities are perfectly equipped and well thought out, making the stay very easy and relaxing. We stayed a total of six days and five nights, and wish we could have stayed longer! The washing machine and drier was a massive plus given our long stay and many trips to the beautiful ocean around the island.We appreciated the attention to detail. The trip was made incredible by the host Namibe and his family, who extended great hospitality. They were very kind and generous. During our stay Namibe ensured we ticked off all of the activities we wanted to do, including fishing, swimming with turtles and offered great local knowledge regarding which beaches to visit. Everything! Spacious, super clean, well, wonderful view, the owner was responsive and super nice, helped us with anything we needed. Everything about it was so convenient and comfortable. So many outlets, great Wi-Fi, washing machine, and of course, the highlight - a private onsen! Really a wonderful stay.

I did not have breakfast provided to me. There was drip coffee packets and a kettle to boil water in the room. The property is charming, homey, and perfectly located for exploring Amami Oshima. It is tucked away from the road for excellent privacy, offering a beautiful jungle-like natural setting and a small ocean view. The garden and porch are lovely, and all amenities worked perfectly including the AC, hot water, fridge, and kettle station. It was a wonderful setup for a solo traveler.

A gem. We had a great time staying here. The hosts are both so friendly and welcoming. The house is full of beautiful decorations and furnitures. We especially love the seats by the garden. My kids love the garden with fish and turtles so much that they visited the garden a couple of times during our stay. Even though there are many items in the house, everything and every corner is spotless clean! We appreciate the house very much, we hope all guests to come will appreciate and cherish this gem like us.
