Accommodations in American River

It was such a good place. You can see the sunrise when you wake up in the morning.

Great view from the balcony/verandah, nice modern shower and kitchen well equipped with coffee machine.

A really great experience, highly recommended! Owners are lovely and very caring and kind, and great to talk to. The place is amazing and in a decent position to the rest of the island which helps for getting around. It has a gorgeous view overlooking the lagoon, beautiful wooden and natural theme inside the main lobby lounge area and very calming and peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are great and have what you need, and for the price this is an absolute bargain and excellent quality.

Great location, cabin was extremely clean on arrival. Good communication from hosts, have rebooked 🙂

The location was on the far edge of America River but it was directly across from the water and had lovely views. The bathroom had just been updated and it had new flooring . Lovely and clean .

We were very pleased that Pav’s place was available after we changed from our original choice (a small villa). There was so much room for three people and we loved the beautiful views to the bay and the ocean. It was cold enough to light the potbelly stove and that kept us beautifully warm. On our last afternoon it was a lot warmer outside so we enjoyed sitting out on the sundeck and taking in the view, including the birds in the trees, the pelicans on the water. The well equipped kitchen meant we could prepare meals and eat in; we also dined out at the recommended Samphire and that was a peak dining experience.

Excellent location, unbelievable views, beautiful apartment, great hosts. The best place we have been in Australia!

Location and the facilities, it was lovely to have stayed in the cottage. Easy walk to local coffee van, and numerous cafes and restaurants. Bed was also very comfortable. The hosts were also very welcoming with information and directions.

River Retreat we very impressive when first entered. It is well equipped and there were numerous thoughtful touches and inclusions. Toiletries were quality. There were nice views towards the river. Outdoor furniture and BBQ provided. Lounge room was very comfortable. Really enjoyed our 3 day stay.

The location was excellent. Accommodation is basic but comfortable and very good value for money.

Great house, well located and well appointed with lots of small things provided.
