have stayed at a few places in skipton and the railway is the best.have no issues with any aspect of our stay.

Staff members were friendly and helpful. The food was good. Lovely historic building renovated to retain its charm. The bed was comfortable and the bath towels were large. Hot pot in room. location was good for things we wanted to see.

The room was extremely comfortable , well presented ,with everything we needed. Lovely and warm on the coldest of nights. Nice bar and restaurant areas with a good dinner menu and an excellent breakfast . Great staff.

We stayed in room no.4 for a cold weekend in October. It was very spacious and comfortable with an en-suite bathroom. The bed was comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities were good with delightful packs of complimentary biscuits. The room was lovely and warm. Breakfast was extra to the room rate and was excellent value. There were plenty of options for free parking and it was only a short walk to the town centre. The hotel hostess was very pleasant, welcoming and chatty. In summary we really enjoyed our stay at the Highfield.

Perfect location for a day/night out in Skipton. Breakfast wasn't included so nipped across the road to Weatherspoons. Lots of cafes nearby if a pub isn't for you.

Communication was brilliant from the moment the booking was made, through to the day we left. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully decorated, the location was great for the shops, restaurants, places of interest and the pubs. It was also well equipped with everything you needed.

the issue was with the booking.com communication system, i kept getting messages two days late, so while our host sent the information for the lockbox we didn't get it until a day after our check in. Thankfully, our host was amazing and answered our call, giving us the information for the lockbox so we could check in easily.
